UG! I've had tickets for months. Signed up for the meet and greet. Took the quiz. Got covid 3 days before your Denver date. So I won't see you Friday, but I hope it's a fantastic show.
Several years ago, a friend gave me your recipe for brined turkey- have used it every Thanksgiving since, and sometimes Christmas, and have reduced it for large chickens on special occasions. You, yourself, are a gift, sir!
Just bought a ticket. Looking forward to the show. You were one of my inspirations to start cooking when I was a kid now I can take my viewership to the next level.
I am attempting to guilt my kids and my other half into purchasing some of the last remaining tickets for me at the Yakima Capitol Theatre. I cannot believe you and Elizabeth will actually will be within 25 miles of my home. Unfortunately you should have been here about 4 months ago so you could have seen the full Bounty our land has to offer. We have hot days and cool summer nights and I am sorry you missed our best farmers markets too! Please come back when you can spend more time. We have it all here. Wineries Breweries Farmers Markets almost a mecca here. But it does get fucking cold and snowy in the winter so do not come then. And fucking hot in the summer but it is dry heat so y'all can deal with that. Yes we have the occasional forest fires but...well...another long story lol. The Eastern side of Wa and Or are very different than the West side.
I did the same! Got 2 tickets to take my Mom with me who has either put up with or enjoyed AB's work for as many years as I have. And I say "put up with" because there was a time that watching Good Eats made me think I should become a chef, but specifically a pastry chef because my pies were amazing.
You aren't coming to Texas at all apparently so as much as I would love to I can't. I hope you come to Houston on the next tour. You are really the only reason I ever started caring about cooking...
It does, doesn’t it? My son and I saw the show there. It was so good! We really had a great time. Thanks Alton & Elizabeth! I hope you have a great Thanksgiving! Miss QQ…
I’ve seen AB live in Ft Lauderdale. He’s a fun personality, engaging, humorous, etc. Definitely worth checking out in person! Please don’t gift him though, he’s a person and there’s only one of him.
@@writerpatrick that's false. The only federal mandates right now are related to government contractors. Some venues are required by state/local laws, but not all of his cities are under those restrictions.
The theater Alton is playing here just lost part of its sign in a windstorm but I'm sure everything will be ready to go. Seeing Alton the Tuesday before Thanksgiving is perfect if you ask me.
Dear Alton; How about the rest of us? Living paycheck to paycheck, trying to live off of reduced for quick sale meat. Canned veggies, not for preppers or when SHTF. Just to live...better. How about the majority of us? I know O2 is the end of meats life, which is why I vacuum seal my meat. I can get more time from end of life meats. Par boil veggies and then freeze to almost...for ever. I wish we could eat prime rib or medallions of tenderloins. Alas, I must live within my means. Sent my daughter to Johnson & Wales, but I couldn't finish the payments. Sympathy is in the dictionary between shit and syphilis. How about some help for the "common" people. Sorry, I hate quotes, especially air quotes. To the staffer who has to read this, I'm sorry. Just had to ask. I know my ideas are all over the place, again sorry.
