Thanks to Arun for asking for more detailed look at the GIVI MT501S side bags, I hope this answers your questions, I did say I lost the side bags but I am going to look on the next rainy day. I am sure I have them somewhere!

hi, great video and I've been considering this side panniers but will ot interfere and get in the way of tye pillion rider's leg or thigh to the footpegs?

Hi Glenn, I had a passenger a few times and she never complained about the rails but never tried it with bags on. I think because the bike is quite small and the frame isn’t very spacious the pillion won’t be very comfy. If it’s a pillion you always take there are good rear racks you could look at stacking stuff up on there instead

How about locking the bag? Not locking to the bars, but locking the bag shut? Is there an option for this? Thanks!

Hi Marc, you could slip a small key code padlock through the zippers but that's the only offering to keep the actual bag locked. I haven't seen a soft bag that has a security function on it & haven't had trouble with people having a go at any luggage especially in touristy locations
