So the new Ultimate Wildmutt is just straight up a horror movie monster. The poor fodder are just lost in a fog unable to see anything. The camera cuts to a POV of Ultimate Wildmutt being able to see their heat signature Predator style. One by one the fodder are whisked into the deep fog by these tentacle-like tails, being hunted by this gigantic beast.

Even though Wildmutt was your least favorite alien, you gave him one of the best designs and powers. I kinda understand where you're coming from. When you don't care that much about a design you're not afraid to be more creative and in turn you end up doing something way better than expected.

I always felt that Albedo's Ultimates in Omniverse were forced mutations rather than natural evolution. That's why even the returning Ultimates look funky. They are basically forced into a mutation to achieve a reasonable fascimile to the original evolutions. So I don't really think the Ultimate forms introduced in Omniverse are completely what the ultimate form would look like if it was Ben with the Ultimatrix.

"He is no longer able to fly" Ben making minor volcanic explosion's to blast himself through the air like Bokogo.

Four-arms and Wildmutt's design and concept for an ultimate is super great, I love how you implement things that are with purpose rather than just for aesthetics.

I think a good 'in-canon' excuse for using multiple versions of the same alien is that while calculating the changes, there is sometimes a "genetic diversion" that cause it to alter while still being viable!

Seeing this just makes me think "why didn't more classic Aliens get ultimate forms???"

Tbh this ultimate Wildmutt would have also made more sense in that episode like he can track what ever the name of that invisible alien was and also hide his presence to him so it gave a noice counter and gave him the tatse of his own medicine. This is overall a much better improvement than the orignal ultimate.

A lot of these concepts lends themselves to more monstrous designs of the aliens, and I really like that- kinda tracks with how Omniverse depicts the ultimates when they showed up in that show. I thought the lankier, stretched out proportions of your Wildmutt concept fits that a bit better than the final render, gave him a bit of a Cloverfied, lovecraftian creature vibe especially with the multiple tails, but the bulkier strong look of the final version's also pretty good at giving off a viscerally feral vibe. Love the look of the dark reddish wilder fur.

Honestly, most of the designs were either decent or passable, but your new ultimate wildmutt is just awesome. I really love the idea of smokescreening to make everyone else blind, which it is already used to, but also other ways of detection except his sonar thing he had.

I would definitely say that the Ultimate Wildmutt would be my favorite out of all of them. Not just because of the design, but because of the new abilities you have thought up for him. It actually makes a LOT of sense, and it does make him sound more like an ultimate.

That Graymatter is my favorite, the Wildmutt redesign was sick too. That Fourarms is probably the most terrifying one of the bunch, certainly the last one I’d want to run into in the dark

Theoretically, since the ultimatrix created the ultimate forms on the spot through it's own simulations, different Bens throughout the multiverse could have different ultimates then our Ben did. Therefore, every design in this video is now part of my head-canon.

Rewatching this series. I think my favourite for this batch is the wildmutt redesign. While I am unsure of what the tradeoff is, I dig how you used long fur to help show advanced senses as well the smokescreen being inspired. So good. My second is ultimate four arms. While I don't know whether ultimate four arms not having his titular four arms is actually acceptable, I do like the concept.

I feel like for an ultimate upgrade, the design should be based off of malware, but before albedo attempted to fix him. The scarecrow like aesthetic suits an ultimate like that, and can even play into the idea that the ultimates are generally more violent or freaky than Ben’s normal aliens with his broken voice and stiff mannerisms.

I really liked the unique names for the ultimates in the part three episode, so I’ve decided to come up with names for the ultimates in these videos. Ult. Heatblast 1: Forgespike Ult. Heatblast 2: Toxishock Ult. Four Arms: Hecaton Punch (As in the Hecatoncheires and gigaton punch) Ult. XLR8 1: Ramway (ram and railway) Ult. XLR8 2: Shockline (shock and airline) Ult. Grey Matter: Tempole (temple, as in your skull’s temples, and tadpole) Ult. Wildmutt: Smogger-Stalk (I’m not so sure about this name but it’s based on smog, stalk, and Jabberwok)

I fucking adore your version of Ultimate Wildmutt. Taking an alien that was, by all accounts, already a pretty fearsome predator, and just dialing it up to 10. Absolutely amazing. Infinitely better than whatever the fuck they were thinking in the show

If Upgrade got an ultimate, he could be purple like in the reboot. It's not a bad look on him.

I think an interesting thing you could have done with the Grey Matter ultimate was instead of reverting from a frog to a tadpole, you could have made him more like a chameleon, like all four of his limbs could be used like hands and a tail, and eyes that could view two different things at once.

I've always imagined ultimate Ghostfreak as a poltergeist character. His species can already turn invisible and use telekinesis. Maybe he could extend that influence over a larger area, gaining the ability to haunt a mansion or animate toys.

I actually had an idea for FA. His scaly hide fuses into thick chitinous plates. He also has specialized explosive muscles in certain joints that make him jab like a sewing machine. However, the meat and potatoes of this form was inspired by the infamous mantis shrimp. Sprouting from each wrist is a bow that runs the length of the forearm. The outer curve is lined with rounded studs while the inner curve is lined with grippy serrations. The major arm bow ends with a bulbous mallet and the minor arm bows end with a point. These spring-loaded weapons can remain extended. While there is a marginal boost to his super strength, for the most part, he just gets built in armor and weapons.

The Ultimate Fourarms concept is unbelievably perfect. Would love to see Ultimate versions of Diamondhead and Big Chill!

I'm a big fan of the idea of making XLR8 a battering ram, and making him slower is a nice touch. Now the Ultimate Fasttrack needs projectile spikes and more speed.

Since you redesigned Ultimate Grey Matter, Wildmutt, and Cannonbolt, it can be safe to assume that Ultimate Way Big will be next on the list.

I feel like a more interesting downside to Ultimate XLR8 is that he's unable to stop once he starts moving. I imagine all of that weight in his head and general front body would make stopping on a dime a nightmare, and if an enemy manages to dodge the initial ram, it could lead to some interesting scenarios

The multiple ultimates could fit into the explanation of how ultimates work in the show. The ultimatrix simulates thousands of generations of constant war to forcibly evolve the aliens. What if the parameters of the simulation were changed? What if it was a different type of catastrophe than constant war? Changing the properties of the simulation would probably change what the ultimate forms look like and what powers they get. Leading to the possibility for multiple ultimate forms per alien if Ben can find a good set of parameters that makes a significant difference while optimizing the output. Any slight shifts to the parameters might only have slight changes to the aliens leading to a slightly different level of power. Like if he messed with the simulation and ultimate xlr8 became slightly slightly less tanky and even slower. Getting the simulation wrong could take the alien’s evolution in the wrong direction than expected. He’d have to find a local maximum of an optimization problem to really get the best out of that particular ultimate form…

for ultimate wild mutt, i always thought it would be cool if instead of just being able to talk, it could mimic any noise it heard to lure in prey, and ben just used that to talk

I always thought Albedo's ultimate forms in omniverse were basically more evil and nightmarish variations of Ben's UA Ultimate forms, so your version of Ben's ultimate graymatter could be a cannon design.

I love the wildmut! he was my favorite alien growing up and I love the the glow up you gave him. I would've liked for him to have some sort of neurotoxin cause evolutionary based that'd make him a more successful solitary predator since he'd be getting bigger anyways and would probably diverge from being a pack hunter like we've seen in other instances of the series.

Just had this idea for the first ultimate heatblast design: Submerging himself into lava, he can expand his body temporarily. The metal parts get stretched apart, revealing more of the lava. Depending on how long this lasts and how much he absorbs determines the stability of this ability

I always love when you make multiple versions of an ultimate alien. And it actually makes sense that all of them could exist simultaneously. Since Ultimates are created through evolution, a part of that process is genetic variation adapting to different circumstances. An ancestral species often evolves in multiple sub-species like what we see with the two breeds of Gourmand in the official canon.

I’m impressed with people who are able go straight into drawing shapes and stuff for their drawings. I draw a basic line skeleton to help plan out the pose and get the proportions. I find it hard to get straight into drawing shapes.

First off: These designs are amazing Second: Grey Matter turning into a tadpole makes sense biologically since as we see in Destroy All Aliens, Galvans take on a ‘younger appearance’ as they age. Kinda opposite to humans in terms of how we change with age

A cool design for Ultimate Wildmutt that actually makes sense. Wish we had this concept instead of the lackluster one. Ultimate Grey Matter looks awesome too

Your concept for Ultimate Wildmutt reminds me of Khezu from Monster Hunter. The stretching tails kinda mirror Khezu's stretching neck and both are blind creatures with something else to make up for it. I noticed how Wildmutt's tails have spikes on the end. If the tail spikes and claws were increased in size, they could be used to climb across walls or ceilings like Khezu does by digging deeply into hard surfaces. Khezu's tail can grasp onto surfaces, allowing it to hang from ceilings and either attack from a distance or jump down and ambush you. Wildmutt's tail spikes could be used to similar effect, and this would synergize well with his smokescreen ability by allowing him to blind the enemy, climb up and cling to something, then either ambush or run away. He could also hang by his tail like Khezu too. Just throwing some ideas out there.

I like your take of Ultimate Graymatter because in a way it makes sense since if the Ultimate Aliens were an entire species I’m pretty sure not all of them would be the same

I think both Heatblast work as a counter to Crabdozer as a its their stone skin making them invulnerable to Pyronite attacks, so wielding molten metal works to impale/damage them just as well as being toxic to counter being swallowed and extinguished. XLR8 1 is fun but like you said is a bit similar to Slampeed, while XlR8 2 doubles down on their current genetics to enhance what they do.

1:00 i found out in one comic from september 2011 where Ben fought against Charmcaster and her rock minions, he changed into Echo Echo and duplicates himself at least 5 times. But he transformed into ultimate form and there was 5 ultimates Echo Echos. I can send evidence picture.

Wildmutt's ability is basically a 360 radar, we can see him dodging things coming from behind and being extremely fast when avoiding attacks

Random idea for Ult. Wildmutt: In exchange for losing his sensory abilities, he has the ability to create both a smokescreen (much like in the video) and the ability to regurgitate smaller versions of himself from either his mouth or tails (similarly to Perfect Cell in Dragon Ball). These creatures would act as his eyes and ears in his environment, along with having a neurological link with the original.

Honestly, I don't really care for the original "Ultimate Forms" for Grey Matter and Wildmutt, but I will admit that those redesigns are impressive. I like 'em. Especially the one for Wildmutt.

I prefer the concept of Heatblast 1, but I like Heatblast 2's design more. I feel like merging them together would be neat.

The Wildmutt redesign is wildly awesome! From the concept to the aesthetic, you outdid yourself. That is easily my favorite. Second would be the Four Arms design.

While I like the idea of Ultimate Four Arms getting super regeneration, I think it would've been fun to go the defensive route and give him the ability to alter his density. Super dense materials plus four arms mass equals gravity fields on his fists, meaning nobody running from that fight. Drawback being that his fighting style becomes very momentum based and just unable to move freely in his heavy state.

I have an idea for an Ultimate Lodestar He’s basically a big head with arms sticking out and the ultimatrix is symbol on his forehead. His head is white and his arms are orange and purple instead of yellow and brown He can basically control anything that’s considered solid matter (Not just metal), but he can no longer create forcefields.

Ultimate wildmutt was so much better than the original.

Yes, Cooper’s ability is indeed called technopathy. Also, the reason Ultimate Wildmutt (in my opinion anyway) can talk is most likely because he becomes smarter. Not Grey Matter level smart, of course, but smart enough to be able to actually talk.

Love the Wildmutt ultimate. Really builds on his original concept of being blind. If you wanted to, you could give him 9 tails as a nod to the mythical fox sort of like how the wolf was a nod to Werewolves.

I LOVE your ultimate wildmutt, from the design, to the ablities. Couldn't think of a more suiting ultimate for it! Neither could the original creators, obviously.

To be fair, I think Ultimate Forms in themselves could be flexible as can be, even to having multiple different kinds, because evolution is already messy enough that a different route could be taken for basically any species to be another. Greymatter and Wildmutt could have their canon forms and your forms depending only on the mutations in their DNA being even slightly different when sent through the apocalyptic time warp thing that Albedo made. I mean, couldn't be any less believable considering the Ultimates from Ultimate alien split off due to a different error. I think the Ultimate Transformation in canon was set to the version the first time it was used on a species DNA sample, but if there was a feature that could store multiple versions of various evolutionary paths (since evolution has no set path and merely is throwing whatever at the problem of survival and seeing what sticks) I feel it would be cool to explore.

The Four Arms concept, and the fact that you made him blue, really reminds me of a Tigtone episode where Tigtone’s head was put on his sidekick’s (named Helpy) body and vice versa. Helpy is a gremlin with super regeneration powers and Tigtone gets the idea of “instead of REgenerationg, I’ll just GENERATE!” To move a heavy obstacle, causing the Helpy body to become absolutely roided-out.

Ultimate grey matter looks so good and I think it's better than the Alvado's variant .

With the first Ultimate Heatblast, I'm feeling the name "Scorch-Weld", seeing as Ash would give em new names in pt2
