Wow that must have been very hard - losing our fur family members is just as hard or harder than losing a human friend sometimes. Glad you guys are still spreading positivity. Because of your videos I tackled some gardening this summer, you inspired me. Next time though I will hairy you guys, it was hard since I really did not know what I was doing haha. So awesome to you guys posting again. The world is back on her axis now that GG is sharing the wonders of mother nature. I can't believe how beautiful your backyard on looking. I can remember when it was nothing but a patch of sun burnt dirt. You guys are the perfect example of showing what can happen when you throw caution to the wind and just start planting stuff. Sure, some things might not survive or thrive, but there will also be many, many surprises. Glad the good karma has returned to your world as you inspire so many of us. Thanks.

Really glad to see you back and looking really fit. I had to put my 13 year old dog to sleep a couple of months ago. Was very painful but I have peace now and believe that she is running and playing all day.🐶

welcome back brandon you look great i missed your yard videos! and there's really something to be said for only planting tree's that thrive in our climate without all the crazy protection, whether it be in summer or winter. i've come to that point too. and most importantly for the loss of your dog, my heart goes out to you guys and hope the memories forever make you smile.

So sorry for your loss. I'm not sure if you have any room but when we last or dog we planted a rosebush in her memory. I want to make a little plaque or something to put by it. Thanks for your videos. Your peaceful presence and optimistic attitude always brings smiles to our family's home and gives us much needed gardening motivation.

A lot of mangoes and tropical trees of mine were lost too this last winter.

Your yard is looking fantastic, along with the pond. Nice work! I have a friend who would come by with her dog almost every day for years from down the street. He was such a sweetheart, I mean it when I say I looked up to him as an example of how to be, and I considered him one of my best friends. He would still walk down and hang out when he could barely walk any more. He passed away a while back, I was there when he died and I buried him in my friends yard, we planted two of our favorite native plants over his resting place. Sorry for your loss, I know how hard it can be. Really glad you guys were able to be successful doing something you love. Much love and respect and wishes for continued goodness to come your way. Look forward to a tour when you guys are ready.

I am so glad you r back! Could you do a video on your watering schedule? I have an 18 year old Sissoo that is now 50 feet high other trees have difficulty growing next to it, my suggestion to you is, every spring prune/trim yours way down, in a couple months it will be back the size it was and more, if you keep doing that every year your Sissoo won't be a nuisance. I have an amazing shade because of mine though.....Have a wonderful day!

Today we say goodbye to the youngest Friend of Brandon and Alyssa. The world will long remember their Friend Mr. Soursop as the heir to a weighty legacy; a champion for those who had none; the soul of the Gardening world; But those of us who loved him, and ache with his passing, To his very last days, Mr. Soursop’s life was instructive. As he aged, he taught us how to grow old with dignity, humor, and kindness - and, when the Good Lord finally called, how to meet Him with courage and with joy in the plant world, Soursop taught us that public service is noble and necessary; that one can serve with integrity and hold true to the important values, like faith and family. He strongly believed that it was important to give back to the community and country in which one lived. He recognized that serving others enriched the giver’s soul. To us, his was the brightest of a thousand points of light. He loved to laugh, especially at himself. He could tease and needle, but never out of malice. He placed great value on a good joke. That’s why he chose Brandon and Alyssa to speak on RU-vid, he had a circle of friends with whom he shared or received the latest jokes. With a heavy heart, we say our final goodbyes to Mr. Soursop, May you Rest In Peace, R.I.P P.S i’m glad you’re back and hope to see more, perhaps trade off with Alyssa every once in a while so you don’t be overwhelmed with camera shyness, 💕
