I'm glad you mentioned the wite reaction to kendrick because what's been annoying me since not like us dropped are these explanation and breakdown videos from wite YT channels acting like they experts on kendrick, the beef with drake and the culture in general. Because i seen too too many of our own people reacting to these videos and this is the problem right there, this deep colonizer worshipping aspect within our own where they have to go to a colonizer explaining their OWN culture to the people who live it and where the culture comes from. Instead of going to a black american who is of the culture understands the culture and is better place to EXPLAIN the kendrick and drake beef and its impact to hip hop hip hop culture and the industry, and the larger implications on black american society and to an extent the diaspora outside of the states. Which THOUGHTCRIMEZ has touched on some of the things i just mentioned. Seen many stole several points you guys made when you brokedown the video on DAY 1 of its release. This kinda thing really ANGERS me because it shows nothing has changed and how something like Jazz got taken over compare to rock and roll which was just poached mainly because of segregation. Jazz got gentrified because unlike rock and roll, they came into our spaces and started replacing black jazz musicians, drove up the prices for tickets etc to the point our people simply just stopped supporting it en mass and moved onto something else,. It no longer resembles what the music was and about when it was new and popular in the culture it came out of and belonged to. Now its just another BS way to pretend how intelligent you are, sitting in a room of stiffs who has no soul, cant dance, sitting in a sterile environment and stuck in a time warp with experts acting like they know what the artist was going for with breakdowns that completely misses the mark and worst some wite dude who cant play jazz but thinks it can, acting like he created the 9th symphony. I fear hip hop is slowly going that way especially with fake stations like hot97 that act like hip hop is separate from black culture and do their own breakdowns nonsense and bs like vanilla ice created the lost symphony or something and that he a genius. ENOUGH of this crap, black america need to shut it down take control of its narrative and assets again like it had in the 90s and shut the gates from the group who always stole from you instead of wasting time only focusing on and acting like other different black people some of whom are problematic who are a symptom of the larger issue of WS is the bigger threat to your own culture in the states.
