YES, I can’t WAIT to see Gladiators BACK on Saturday night television at the new arena home in Sheffield Arena and in the new channel home on BBC One in Autumn 2023 for the first time in 23 years in terrestrial television since the last ever episode in the original series on Gladiators came to an end on ITV on the 1st January 2000. Now we have 16 new gladiators with their 1990’s style uniforms including 8 new female gladiators in red like Athena, Comet, Diamond, Dynamite, Electro, Fire, Fury and Sabre and 8 new male gladiators in blue like Apollo, Bionic, Giant, Legend, Nitro, Phantom, Steel and Viper the new gladiator villain and the new Wolf on Saturday night television. The dad and son duo Bradley and Barney Walsh will present the iconic 1990’s Saturday night television series. Gladiators in the BBC One series will be BETTER than the crap reboot series in the Sky original and here is the famous catchphrase from my favourite wrestler Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart the Canadian wrestling legend in WWE ‘The best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be’.
