First video I've seen of this watch with its new fully-brushed bracelet. A better match for the smaller SeaQ than the polished center links that came with these watches at launch. Don't think Glashutte announced the change at all, they just started supplying bracelets with the updated finish sometime quite recently. Thanks for the great video.

I also have this Glashutte SeaQ. Having several Rolex Subs in the past I can say this timepiece is superior in most every way. However, it does not get the trasditional Rolex brand love and attention. It's a watch best enjoyed by those in the know. The new braclet with the overall brushed finish makes this Glashutte a best in class winner.
May I ask if your dad sent this watch to a GO service centre in order to get this packaging in return? I also bought the SeaQ 39.5 in Reed Green and it came in a regular GO box and travel case as can be seen in many RU-vid reviews, but I've never seen this one! Was wondering if they give you this packaging after a service? Also, I notice that the bracelet is fully brushed while it's supposed to have polished centre links (which I hesitated so long about...). This is definitely not "original" ! Did your dad get it satin brushed by GO? Thanks for the video! haven't made a review of mine yet but will get around to it at some point... Good luck with the channel!
Nope, this piece is brand new from the AD. From what I understand, now GO has changed their packaging to this configuration (not sure for all models of just some). As for the bracelet, GO has also updated certain colours to have fully brushed links and other colours to have the polished center links. You can check their official website and you will see that the blue one is now with fully brushed links😄 I also had a chat with my AD about this when I noticed it🤣 *if I recall correctly the black one still comes with the polished center links…

I may get some flak for this (entirely apposite since it's a German watch....), but for those who love the looks of this watch, Le Forban in France produce the Brestoise for 495 euros, a watch that was originally designed in 1969 in France..... Then there is the Wolbrook Skindiver, also produced in France and a sixties design, for only 399 euros, with better specs and movement than the Le Forban. Both sport Japanese movements and Chinese parts but are assembled in France. Who was first in designing this watch is not quite clear to me...... To top it all is the recent Seestern S435, a nice Germanic sounding name for a completely Chinese watch that looks uncannily like the SeaQ and offers the exact same dimensions, specs (highbeat movement, domed sapphire, excellent lume, ceramic bezel with smooth action etc) for just 190 euros.
