Glass Lizard - Legless Reptile that Looks Like a Snake

Why “basically” legless lizards? Aren’t they literally legless lizards, like that’s actually what they are

Bro I’ve seen only 3 legless lizards in my life and two of them were dead. My cat killed the first two and was torturing the last one and I saved it. Moral of the story.. Gets your cats fixed.

They are beautiful. I've kept kinda similar lizard, Lygosoma quadrupes, both slither like snake but Lygosoma have tiny legs

The only part that matters is that they are not venomous. In All the other ways that matter, a legless lizard is essentially a snake.
