It's like those old Elvis Presley movies where he is in a restaurant and suddenly breaks out into a song and all of a sudden the waiters know the song and how to sing back-up for him and then out of no where one of the customers pulls out a guitar and "surprise" he knows how to play the song also. I never noticed her vocals in the background, but I'm hearing them more as I'm rewatching performances of this show...amazing harmonies, yet so powerful and strong and able to hold her own as a soloist or lead on a song. This has to be one of my favourite Glee songs! It just puts a permanent smile on my face! But I love that the entire Glee club were just rocking out except for Rachel who was just sat there looking really angry and rolling her eyes and that Kurt just walked into the practice room with so much enthusiasm and immediately landed on his back!

Honestly it would be interesting to have Holly Holliday create the club and have Marley instead of Rachel and having both Sam and Jake replace Matt. I think I would actually like the characters more but it would not be as entertaining.

I’m old now so there is no good reason why this is one of my favorite things of all time. I tear up whenever there’s a scene where someone gets their shot and nails and and Gweneth definitely nails it in all departments: singing, dancing, attitude. A 3 minute piece of magic. Oh and of course, great song.
