Tina knew what it was like to be an underdog. Tina should've at least spoke up and told them it's not cool. Too bad Kurt wasn't in that scene. or Mercedes. They would have something to say.
True but Marley did step in before anyone could say anything else. They didn't really leave room for others to chime in but I didn't really see them laughing either but you are soooooooo rigjt
@@Oliver-ub4gc Kurt would have insulted them back, Mercedes would have probably even threaten them to go physical, and I even think Santana would have intervened (if she actually liked Marley tho)...
Kamille Hobbs that was the problem Post Season 3 Glee. The Group had defacto leaders in Rachel and Finn, and practically all the leaders (Kurt, Mercedes, Santana) has all left, leaving the followers, (with maybe the exception of Sam and Blaine, but that’s a really big maybe)
Faerie Queen Sugar does not allways think before she talks and Kitty is always a jerk. Plus Sometimes people just say mean things without thinking. Either way, the people that were not newer did not actually say anything mean.
@@nicomonge Yeah, Sam had to be promoted to parent in his own household at too young an age, so it's basically instinctive for him to take on the father/big brother role when someone is hurt
I fucking loved Marley from her first episode on the show. Not only was she played by a stunningly beautiful actress in Melissa Benoist, but to be fair, my mother works as a school cafeteria worker. She worked at every school I went to up to and including high school. As a fellow lunch lady kid, I just felt more connected to Marley. Always was one of my favorite characters on the show.
She's afraid if she interrupted Marley she might die by Marley's superpowers or Marley can call Sebastian ( Barry ,the flash ) and just kill the 2 bitches
Yeah, she only cares when it is with her. It's funny how people point finger at the characters so easily but Brittany always gets not mentioned. For me, people like her are kind the worst.
I really liked Marley she was only in 2 seasons but for a new cast member I thought she was great I was really upset that she wasn't in season 6 AT ALL because of supergirl and then how she wasn't in the finale like UGH
I loved marley i wish she had also appeared in season 6 i would've loved a storyline of her and the rest of the newbies coming back to McKinley i also would've loved sugar and joe to return and be a part of the new directions kitty would've really been happy but i love how melissa benoist got her own show
Yeah, I was looking for her during 'I lived' and we didn't see her once. We didn't see Rory either. Why did the show treat the new kids so badly? From season 3 and 6 - and in retrospect, we hardly got anything out of the newbies from season 6 as well.
@@agenttheater5 a lot of "fans" did too. I rememberso many people back in those days bashing on the new cast and saying they weren't as good as the other ones.
I'm so glad Marley is a beautiful person and not a wannabe like other kids. She's not ashamed to accept her mother infront of the coolest people of school. She wasn't afraid and was brave to put dreams at risk. Just for her mother...finally a loveable character on Glee. ♥️
I know how Marley feels, growing up my mom was really heavy, and all the kids at my school, not only did they bully me, but they would say horrible things about my mom too
I commented the same thing on the video where they convince her to get back into Glee club and she gets slushied immediately. What a reward for putting up with theatre kid bullies.
i love how she's not ashamed to admit that that was her mom considering most high school kids sometimes wont admit that because of the background and everything
Actually, the exact same thing happened to me when I was a child. Another girl was talking to me at the end of the school day and she saw my father entering the room to pick me and my brother home, and she was like « woah look at this horrible fat man ». So I told her that was a mean thing to say, and she was like « why do you care he’s not your dad » so I just stood up and answered « yes he is », and i went to give him a hug in front of her before we left. I am so proud of the child that I was that day today, and I bet she felt terrible as she should.
It broke me when she Said you don't know her and what her life been like because she my mom I thought you guys were different 😭😭😭 I realize this show showing how friends toxic and you can find that in Glee club talking behind a person back I like Marley mom working her ass off for Marley and her I would never want to be around that crowd popular or not no way real life situation 😠😠😭😭😭
she handled that a lot better then me. I used to punch people in the face for speaking about my mum like that and I still will. it's horrible to hear people saying that about your mother and it hurts so bad when you know your mum thinks she humiliates you because of what she looks like and what nasty little brats say to you about her😢
Same like idgaf if anyone talks bad about any of my family members i will cuss them out i once overheard someone talk shit about my mom under their breath thinking i didn't hear what they said they acted like they didn't talk shit and I'm like I'm not stupid i heard u talk shit leave my mom out of this she did nothing to you you don't hear me talking shit about your family so leave my family alone and keep them out of your mouth and the next time you talk shit you best believe im gonna call you out on it
I like that they didn't pull that trope of "outcast girl lies about her identity and denies their parents because they want to fit in" Yeah.. I'm looking at you Mitchie 👀
I think Artie, Blaine, Brittany, Joe, Sam, & Tina should have said something. They knew what it was like for Glee to be the underdogs especially through the first seasons. The only ones who were making fun of Marley’s Mom was the football player & Sugar. Kitty seemed surprised when Marley said that was her Mom. I am glad Marley stood up for her Mom & especially when she said she thought the Glee club was different. Marley did have that right to walk away from the table I wouldn’t stand it if someone was bullying others.
I felt really bad for Marley and her mom through the first couple episodes cause Marley was right, they didn’t know her Mom. And it’s horrible that she has to be somebody friends mom just for people to not talk about her meanly. I mean obviously yes, she is a little overweight but maybe she has a disease or disorder and it’s nobody’s business why she is, and it’s nobody’s right to judge her. And when Marley said, because she’s my Mom and I really thought you guys were different, that really hit me. She risked losing all her friends that she just made, just to protect her Mom. Brittany’s hand slap at the end was hilarious and I really thought Sam was going to go after Marley.
My mum's a lunchlady at a different school, and kids are mean, so it makes me sad that kids could be saying things about her and i'm not there to defend her. A girl that used to get lunch from my mum actually said to my face that my mum was a bitch for not giving her extra dessert... So it worries me that people are saying things, she's a tough woman. But i can really relate to Marley, especially since my friends make fun of me, and struggle to understand i don't have the money to throw around like they do.
Imagine having such a sad life to the point she had to call someone a bitch just for not giving her extra dessert (???), that’s ridiculous, I hope you and your mom are doing great
@@SuperZamForever Yeah, but she left so quickly, they were just kinda in shock for a moment. They didn't really have the time to respond and we don't see what happens after Marley leaves.
I'm disappointed in Sam, Blaine, and Baby Jesus. Tina and Archie have always been okay as long as it wasn't them getting bullied. Brittany is best friends with mean girls so she wouldn't really see a problem with it. Sugar and Kitty are mean in general so it wasn't personal at least.
