I did an urgent root canal treatment on Glen in 1988 at Guy’s Hospital one Saturday afternoon where I had literally just qualified as a dentist. He actually looked less pissed off with the dental pain that day than with this lot of autograph hunters. I remember he was an alright, pleasant, very polite and an just ordinary bloke really. ( Bit of a breach of confidentiality, I know...but I don’t care anymore because even I’m retired now! Haha)
Thanks very much to the so called fan who shoves a "never mind the bollocks" album in front of him after being kicked out of the band for teaching the rest how to play and also never even playing on the album. HE SHOULD HAVE PLAYED ON THE ALBUM AND SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN SACKED FOR A SMACK HEAD WHO COULDN'T PLAY BASS .AND ANOTHER THING SID DIDN'T PLAY ON IT EITHER HE HAD YELLOW JAUNDICE .BEGINNING OF THE END. TOP MAN GLEN MATLOCK
@@draxlerchronicles5851 To be honest with sids mother he never stood a chance .Thanks for putting us right on that you hear so many things you don't know what to believe. Fancy getting rid of Glenn Matlock just because he liked the Beatles and because his mum winced at I am an antichrist line and would wash his feet In hotel sinks. Big big mistake
@@kevinhanson4703 As far as i am aware the whole "liking the Beatles" nonsense was just another Malcolm invented story concocted for the press release to explain Matlock's departure. Anyway, is liking the Beatles any different to John loving Status Quo? Or Steve loving Journey? In fact I'd rather own up to liking the Beatles over Quo or Journey! Live recordings with Glen are such a joy to listen to. Anything featuring Sid is like Chinese torture!
