Question, I already had a titanium hemicap implanted . I know you hear this a lot, but I am extremely active. Wrestling, Jiu Jitsu. I cycle 100’s of miles a week. I did not have the implant put in on the glenoid side. Now I am having a lot of pain because the titanium humeral head is rubbing on the glenoid bone causing pain. My humeral bone sits to the rear. Can I have the inlay glenoid implant put in even though I have a spherical humeral head not from Arthrosurface ?

This is an excellent presentation. I have been looking at all the options and was going to do a ream and run however this makes more sense to me.

I think the ream and run is still the best for young patients

@@binary I agree but I am 65… ended up with semi Arthoplasty - left glenoid alone - so far so good 5 months removed, but you have to work on breaking up the collagen post surgery. Ream and run is paired with aggressive movements post surgery, not sure I had the nerve for it, but looking back I totally get the approach and agree

@@ElGuapoBeltran yup ream and run is a very tough recovery, and only a few surgeons have mastered it.
