This is a good video to show to the pollution control board but it is not practically possible to feed tyre like this as leave the reactor half empty making the entire process to costly and loss making..

yes, it can be used in the refining of iron oxide, or in the production of acetylene, it is not indicated to be used as fuel, as it produces a lot of fly ash, it is indicated to be used as a reducing agent in some chemical reaction.

I like te pyrolysis but this is too slow and labor intensive even for a developing country. Baled tires are more dense and easier to load that this method.
