Even Though the Glock 19 was and still is considered the best “allrounder” pistol, does it really still own that top spot?
➡️ In this video I’ll go over all of the things you should consider before you just rush into a store and pick the standard go-to without considering what you want to use it for.
While it might still be a good pick if you only want to own one single gun the G45 or G48/43x might be better options depending on your use cases. The G45 and the G48/43x put the g19 in a weird middle-ground.
While I think it could still make sense if you want to own only one pistol, here’s why I sold mine because I had no more use for it.

That's why I love the 19x. It conceals as good as the 19. Also, if you carry a 19 with an x300, you can carry a 17 or a 34 with an x300. Holsters have came a long way. Good video man.

Good vid your points make sense. Check out Keeper Concealment holsters. They follow the same concept of the longer holster, except there is a pad near the bottom that pushes the gun into you even more, and there is padding wrapped underneath the bottom for comfort. I carry a Beretta 92 so comfortably, that I'm selling all my sub-compacts.

Keeprs makes an incredible holster, but the price and lead time keeps me away. I get the same benefits from my DSG. I definitely know what you mean though. I barely carry small guns anymore because, with the right holster, it's easy to carry a full size.

Did you end up getting a longer than required holster for your G48? Your videos are an excellent resource btw.

Thanks man! So for the 48 I just go with the standard holster length. Ive found with these smaller ones, they dont really need the extra length to tuck them in like the double stack guns do.

@@b0men thanks! Do you find that your setup is comfortable enough to carry the G17 regularly, or do you often find yourself going with the G48?

@@nate5388 Great question! Honestly, I find myself carrying the g17 more than the 48. For me, the footprint is about the same and the extra length is actually more comfortable. Where the 48 shines, however, is WEIGHT. Its super light on your belt compared to a g17 which is awesome.

Only reason I carried smaller gun is due to weight. I have carried cz po1 all day for CCW and wasn’t a good experience.

I have always enjoyed the G17 more than the G19, and have found there to be little to no difference when carrying. Having said that, I am a CZ guy these days lol. Though I wouldn't mind owning a G17!

Not just as well and yes there is a difference and a little one but that's the difference between them very little glock 19 is the best it's just as good as 17 and the 45 the 43× and 48 have 10 rounds .

Been doing it for about 4 years now. The purpose of this video was not to convince you AIWB is for you. Not everything works for everybody. What works for me might not work for you.

For those that don’t carry appendix, the G19 is easier to hide when carrying at like 4 O’clock.

Being in CA with the stupid handgun roster 🤢🤮, we can only buy new Gen 3 Glocks. If your choice was between Glock 34, 17, or 19 as a jack-of-all-trades gun, what would you choose?

Good question. If I had to just get *one* gun, it would be a g19. It's not the best at one specific thing, but its the best combination of things - concealment, shootability, etc.

@@b0men Awesome, I’ll pick one up sometime. Not all of us Californians voted for the anti-gun Commifornia microstamping/“safe gun” roster (I wasn’t even old enough to vote when this crap passed). Hopefully, the courts could overturn this law so we can enjoy what you guys have in freer states. Keep the content going brother!
