Resin isn't the only way to achieve a perfectly glossy, glass-like finish. You can get the same kind of shine by sanding and buffing.
No, there is no varnish, resin, gloss, sealer, clearcoat, or other product on the surface of this clay. It's 100% polymer clay, cut from the same piece, and baked at the same time. They're identical aside from the five minutes I spent sanding and buffing it.
