As an esthetician I can tell you that no ordinary, non prescription skincare product works in one or two days. It may brighten your skin a little but that’s it. It will not change anything about your fine lines or anything like that. If you use a product like frownies or Peter Thomas Roths instant firm x face tightening cream then you can see a very short lived, superficial difference but that’s it. Don’t be fooled that if you spend $200 on a serum that it’s suddenly going to work like Botox (which also isn’t instant and takes us to 2 weeks to take effect)

As someone with PCOS, oloy skin and with the years developing atopic dermatiis (atopic sinusitis and rhinitis had for decades) the only thing that helped me was antiandrogene progesterons and isotretionin, not even topical tretinoin). I tried so many products, sometimes some azaleic acid helps but again using in combo with salycilc, benzoil peroxide and sunscreen doesn't work, Good genes I must say the only good product beside amazonian clay mask, that I buy twice a year, and vitamin C doesn't really help me. The last thing I will give it try (with hormones) is retinal. But yeah, I get you. And I hate sunscreens what is the point if all of them break me out? Like all, and I use in spray of fluids because the creams literally I can't stand. My skin can't and won't handle.

I love you with blonde hair...can't say I was totally surprised to see it return. 🥰 As a fifty year old who has spent 30 years conducting VERY expensive experiments in skincare the 2 main things I've learned is 1.consistency is key...give it chance to work and keep at it. 2. dont buy products outside your price range. It's tempting to get something expensive when you're feeling flush, then fall in love with it and not be able to afford to continue repurchasing.

I think it needs to be said that not every routine is right for everyone and more often than not, staying hydrated, cleansed and moisturized is the best method for most everyone.

Short hair is honestly addicting. Once you try it, it's so hard to go back. For me, I also never thought I'd be happy with short hair. The social anxiety, potential dysphoria, and plain dislike of most short hair cuts held me back. My hair's been under 3 inches in length for close to nine months, and I can never, ever go back! The maintenance is effortless, the euphoria is real, and I'm guiltlessly able to change hair colors every few months. I also discovered my hair has actual volume (!!!) and the density is a boon for short hair, instead of an annoyance that leads to Snape-hair like when it's longer. Everything I hated about my hair disappeared when it got short. I'd sooner pay $600 for a wig than have my hair long again, haha.

You look fabulous! Don't feel guilty about the hair - if it makes you feel better emotionally, mentally - its so worth it! I totally understand how you feel about it but you rock a pixie cut ane maybe that's what you need to do until your hair grows out. Anyway - you've got 50 years of natural hair to go why not dye it up now?!

Just fyi once you start dying your hair it never stops. I have gone back and forth from wanting and not wanting to dye my hair for many years now. I grew it out natural for almost a year and now it is blue....... You always look amazing and I am so happy to have the pleasure of watching you for the past few years. Even if I don't comment very often.

When it comes to skincare, I'm in the "less is more" club. I love oils, since my skin is dehydrated. Currently loving products from Origins. Cleansing oil, eye cream and moisturizer. That's it. Oil at night, cream with SPF during the day.

You looked great and I'm happy that these products worked for you! But if you guys don't have money to spend on luxury skin care then invest in a trip to the derm or an online prescription service and get tretinoin. You will thank yourself that you used it, it transformed my skin, like I'm 29 and I still get asked for my ID when I buy alcohol 😊 also you don't need expensive moisturizers, get cerave and invest in some hydrating korean beauty and you're all set!! (If you need help you can ask me here)

I've been wanting to try tretinoin but it seems like such a hassle to get 😅 Do you know if there are any products containing tretinoin that would be good as a test to see how my skin reacts to it? I guess the pure stuff is really strong hence the need for a prescription.

You should consider applying your skincare products to your forehead, around your temples/eyes and lines around your mouth first and then blend out towards your cheeks. You're putting the most product where you need it least (the back of your cheeks) and spreading only the remnants on the areas of greatest need. Just a suggestion, take it or leave it!

The pimple patches are the same as the colloid bandages used for blisters. They absorb moisture and create a seal so it can heal from the inside out instead of forming a scab and refilling.

The best red hair natural substitute that I’ve seen is arctic fox products, purple and orange and I think either green or yellow you mix them and you get the perfect Ginger color ✨✨✨✨✨

I got extremely stressed out with life for a but and stopped doig anything face care after a few months of doing a good job at least spending 10 minutes exfoliating my skin with my electric face brush cleaner. But 2 weeks of being too stressed to do more than wipe my face with a wet cloth, and the fact my eye had something going on and creams going near one of my tear ducts or makeup as well giving me a painful tear duct so I stopped doing most of my creams then all, gave me a nice small pimples everywhere breakout so I finally started washing my face properly again :p Still waiting a bit for creams though cause even though it doesn't hurt when I put them on now, it's still a tab annoyed so I'll just let it figure it's self out first before creams :p
