Life gets challenging some days as I care for my 30 year old son on dialysis. You remind me of my mother who passed on to heaven 6 years ago. She would tell her life stories as you do.. I miss her dearly and appreciate you, your words and of course all your beautiful projects. I used to be quite crafty myself but not so much anymore but I do enjoy watching you! Fyi, grandma moses didn't start painting until her 80's. She painted until she was 100 I believe. She said to never take an art class....just start painting...which she did only because her arthritis prevented her from her knitting. I'm astounded as to the things you do and create. Inspiring!!!

Get you a fanny pac. I wear one to work in my raised beds and trips on the farm. That way it is around your waist if you fall. I am like you, don't want a cellphone. This is fantastic way to carry it Miss Helen. I find them in thrift and goodwills usually for few dollars.

We're all over the moon you took heed of our concerns for you while walking in the woods..and like you..I would prefer the phones to be wired to the walls and left behind...you however said..there's no-one watching after you so take your cell phone next time... Your dahlia flowers are beautiful...I have several sizes growing as well..some are those "dinner plate" sizes. ..the only problems with the big ones is they get too heavy and fall over..hah !..but they keep growing along like nothing happened and sending up new shoots...incredible... I remember when you did your first hot glue tree...I think it was in spring time or summer colors...but it was as beautiful as your fall colors today... What a beautiful job you did Ms Helen. I have done a dozen or so glue gun paintings on canvas, but never ever thought to try it on glass in a picture frame like you have done here. I definitely never thought of adding other elements to the tree as well. I love what you have done with this and you have inspired me to try something similar myself. It has been awhile since I came here to visit you, but I am glad I did so today because you reminded me to smile today at the goodness of other people. I loved the story as well of the gentlemen who stopped to help you move your rock. You remind me so much of myself in many ways.
