Lucky me, not only am I a celiac, but I have a mammal meat allergy to all animals who have hoofed feet, due to chronic Lyme disease. So, I have learned to make a very spicy version of ground Turkey breakfast sausage to substitute for the pork sausage. Where there is a will there is a way. Delicious!

My daughter is on a gluten-free restricted diet. We recently saw a sausage ball recipe using "Gluten Free" Red Lobster Biscuit mix. Haven't tried it yet but we did buy the mix at our local grocery story. We'll have to try your recipe also.

Sausage balls are my absolute favorite holiday snack to make and everybody loves them. I’m curious, does the butter not make them more oily? I’ve never added butter to my non-GF recipe in the past.

No it doesn't because it's basically substituting the bisquick, which has butter already in it.
