Just ordered mine for my 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 (6.2L). A local muffler shop will do the install (just went there to talk with them). Funny, the manager said "not" to install a Flowmaster! Thanks for your video...helped me out.
I like flowmaster super 10, hands down😎👍🤙. I would remove the rear resonators to make it sound louder😎👍🤙. I like the kind of loud where you turn on the car and the whole building collapse, cause of the exhaust😬😳😆😂😆😎👍🤙. That’s the kind of loud i like😬😎👍🤙😆😂😆
I feel it is a waste of money to put a muffler on the truck if you were leaving the factory resonators on it. Like just do a muffler delete. The most radical mufflers from either brand and they left the factory resonators on there.
Had a muffler delete pipe installed on my 2021 Chevrolet 1500 with a 6.2 way to much cab noise for me personally guess I'm getting old so just ordered the borla attack 3 in 3" out flap deleted love the tone without all the cab noise thanks for the video lots of help guys
It actually increases performance when you remove resonators. Like pipe replacement or just do catback so you get new pipes and muffler you want. Best performance without getting into the stuff that challenges a warranty or emissions.
I read that the flapper cut off the people who want to keep the afm will get an annoying Honda rice rocket sound when the motor switches modes, and keeping the flapper will stop this annoying sound from happening but at a cost of the flapper leading to squeaking. Any truth to this?
