When boss is doing attack patterns, or mechs that you can’t deal damage. Using a low CD skill to maintain adrenaline stacks will help improve DPS performance too.
Great video. You should do a video analyzing a fight where you got Cruel Fighter and let the viewers know the tiny adjustments you made that got you more uptime. Also, you can have another video where you did not get Cruel Fighter and analyze what mistakes were made. Your small examples of Akkan and Sona highlights are way better than other people just showing Trixion Dps

I'll speak for myself for the number 1 tips. I found it overwhelming to understand the concept of X build because you have to understand the effect of every single part and then put everything together. With my main now I can understand it much quicker than before (if changes are being made) but for my alt.. It's a pain in the ass. The only thing so far that I can recommend is test every single skills and recommended build in trixion before you buy access or select tripods for upcomming build. I play an alt gun lancer and tried first lone knight meta build a long time ago didn't like it cause it was clunky/slow. To the point of deleting the char. Then created a recent one to try combat readiness, was a bit better but didn't like the feel of it. And then I tasted lone knight build which is used only in vykas inferno which is an off meta build for normal content. I now only play that with and it feels amazing ! I even can do cruel fighter in raid gardian or top 3 for legion raid. A lot of player want to do big number and I get it but this shouldn't be your main goal cause if you don't like the class you better hope than the number will outweight the class you dislike playing.
True 100%understand the build can be hard. But my point is just dont really copy and paste, at least know about the simple concept for the class. There are lots of people I found they have no idea how to play their class and blame the class do 0 dmg.
as a GS, i do walk in front of boss when other teammates are behind, but i find the chance of boss targeting players in front of it seems higher. so i end up getting hit a lot by doing so. might be just bias.

I think there's one more tip you miss It's you have to make sure you're in support's circle to get the atk buff The support tend to ignore range class like SS/ Sorc and just use the buff ON TOP of the boss (aka bad support) for the melee classes. We basically are forced to play point blank all the time if we're with an artist or bard, sadly You can be in as good position as possible but if your support is trash and always put you in danger zone cuz of their bad circle placement, there's nothing you can do about it. A lot of bard/ artist constantly force me to stand inside boss's knockdown range cuz of their terrible circle placement. That's why i always prefer paly in any raid for PUG.
The thing is as a sorc or gs you can go melee to land your damage but melee classes can't go distance to hit boss, so if there is both type of damage dealer in party, the supp don't really have the choice to put aoe close to the boss, the only way for everyone can do their damages at the end of the day.
@@cocobento7467Exactly this 100%. Unless the whole party is ranged then the atk buff is going on the boss. Good range players know to stack with the melee. In fact in some raids melee is the safest place to play in a raid. I.e. Brel G4, Akkan G1 or Monkey GR.
quick response. never use set for back attack.specialy on classes with swift. you lose increrible time for find back and you wast time for all ability what ready to use but can not be realized.just choose another set. Second advise find support with alternative set what give you insane healing,defence, and damage up to 32%. with this 2 thing you can just IGNORE 90% of boss attacks cuz you can not die and you do not waste time to find back. on every second yellow or blue attack, or on EVERY attack of boss you can just press Space to boss and continue deal damage instead of run away,wait until it ends and run to find back. thats all. its SO SIMPLE and INCRERIBALY easy under alternative support set.
