To visualise personal God at Heart space is good for beginners as well as japa but going into pure awareness not caring about thoughts at all not trying to control mind at all, is true meditation and Samadhi. Bhagavan Sri Ramana gave such Self Knowledge.
But simple human nature just believe in name, form and qualities of any person,and it's not easy to think formless brahm for all simple humans so our deities give sagun brahm as bhakti path...For ease and understanding You can't neglect bhakti path
@@hirenahir4377 God is limitless and has the Omnipotence to be anything. He is She, a form or formless. Abrahamic Religions try to limit Him as without a form and do not accept Him as a form though designate Him as He. And there are other limitations that He cannot come to earth or that there is the last prophet. These are limitations upon God.
Lord Buddha teaches consciousness is formed of "energy" with help of the "six aggregates" within life as a phenomena and as a result of cause & effect. "Samsaara " All life energies end up to be nothingness.
if only brahman alone exists there is not question for compassion. If there is no student why call some one a teacher? why does create personal GOD to understand unchanging Brahman?
@@NathanielMerritt-sf5qs Because God is a Christian term. Hindus have their own terms. The Hindu/Yoga Dharma existed for thousands of years before the invention of Christianity and "God". Also to make God a generic term makes it superficial and actually insulting to Christians who of course will never use a Hindu term like Brahman.
