Jelinek Gaming, you’re right about your comment entirely that Kratos doesn’t owe Athena anything because she didn’t erase Krato’s memories of his dead wife and child.
This one and Ascension have great graphics for their age. I’d love to see all of the Greek games remade completely on the same game engine and graphics of GOW 5
+Angelas Johnny Nah, some game cutscenes are better than most movies! I love watching some of these! Not sure about this remastered version? Ive watched the regular GOW3 cutscenes on this channel loads of times, and I could swear the shadows, the lighting looks better in the cutscenes?
Devon Smith no it wasn’t he tried to kill him first it was self defense and when he was defeated he begged for mercy and tried to call him a coward for killing his kin when he was literally trying to do the same
Even more ironic when you consider that in the original lore, almost each and every one of the gods have tried to kill another god at least once despite technically being family, Kratos is just doing it more honestly than the rest of them.
1:27:02 Pandora's speech about Hope followed by Kratos opening the door to reveal Daedaleaus chained up because of his hope, that was incredibly powerful screenplay.
@@mildsthatyac2097 yeah probably they going do odin forst then thor remember god of war 2 they hype zeus gave us a taste and then in this game got tje full might i beleive they will do the same in the 'ew series hopefully not
@@samuelkibunda6960 what? No! You walk around and watch a cutscene for a minute until it's two dudes smacking each other around, you cant compare that to fighting a water god while riding a titan up a mountain in the middle of a war on OLYMPUS
Mojo jojo i know right :/ like the beginning when he fell of Gaia he wouldve have flied up to zeus or just fly to the flame of olympus or BETTER YET not fall into the river of styx so that his magic, souls and health doesnt get drained :/
Nah game design, sure he's GOT the strength there. But it'd be a really linear game if he just used that level of strength to bust through everything in his way like nothing
"But the hands of Death could not defeat him, the sisters of fate could not control him, and on this day, the man, the legend, kratos , Will have his revenge "
Ikr he literally tells them up front that they shouldn't put their trust in him and then they get surprised when he does exactly what they trust he *wouldn't* do smh
Pandora: He told me that he will hurt you, like he did to my father. Kratos: He won't. Pandora: He said if I ever talk to you again, he will kill you! Kratos: He Can't. damn
Boy! Listen close. I am from a land called Sparta. I made a deal with a god that cost me my soul. I killed many who were deserving... and many who were not. I killed my father.
@@Carlito_Brigante Killing Poseidon caused a giant flood. Killing Hades caused all the souls to roam free, that's all I can think of. Killing Helios blotted out the sun, obviously, and caused all the storms and cyclones. Hermes death spread a fatal plague to the surviving human Olympians. Hera's death killed all plant life, and probably other horrible things. Zeus's death? It was just really explosive and flashy..maybe It just made everything go more wack?
• UnholyMalformationofFisto • And Baldur’s death triggered Ragnarok don’t know what Magni and Modi triggered, but an argument could be made that it is because they’re demigods
Apples and oranges dude. If you can't understand the meaning of ".." before the text, I have bad news for you but I give you an example; If some clusterfuck of a person writes something unbelievably stupid one may answer "..what?" and the dots are there to convey the moment of thinking why the hell one would say that. Maybe even to express the distrust of idiocy he/she had to experience. But to the point, can you answer my question? edit. And yes, you don't use capital letter after number or symbol (there are exceptions too, tho), I just thought I should remind you of that. :)
This game is the definition of epic. Way back when I was a kid seeing this I was sure nothing would ever top the sheer scale of this game’s premise and cutscenes. Now years later I have yet to see it
This is the exact same dialogue that I love among all the cinematics. Love how Poseidon says it. ABSOLUTELY EPIC! Every time I hear to that I practise it myself haha and I do feel like a god.
@@thegoodstuff3148 Damn it makes a lot of sense. Also before the fight, Zeus says that he confuses Pandora with his "own flesh and blood" which might be referencing to the gods as well. Good theory mate!
@@edwardarroyo834 That's a part I left out, but figured any logical person would understand that my comment meant: :rip torn was.... for BOTH zeus from disneys hercules, and now this man's voice.. (Couldn't think of Hephaestus' name at the time) NOT BOTH ZEUSES.
27:20 Kratos: I seek the flame of Olympus. Hephaestus: For what purpose, Spartan? Kratos: For the purpose I have chosen. Lol that response always gets me.
lmao he really does have a habit being snarky like that he never lost it even when he's in faraway lands Atreus: We're hunting deer? Kratos: You are hunting deer? Atreus: which way? Kratos: in the direction of deer
@@shazam314 And Egyptian, Mesoamerican, and Japanese apparently. Or maybe they will use God of War 3's original script and have kratos with the aid of two others become the three wisemen to protect the one and true god.
Kratos is hands down the most badass character ever... No fear whatsoever... Killer of gods, and titans. Facing all challenges head on, giving no quarter.
God of war 3 kratos: eww i had to carry a mans head on my side the whole time im never doing that anymore!! God war ps4 kratos: aww shit, here we go again
Kratos: Hey Hermes those are some nice boots...what size are they? Hermes: Thank you for the compliment but why do you want to know the size? Kratos: ☺
Andre q and ةخعسفشبش شلاثمشائه, I found it hilarious because Hermes was the most idiotic Greek God out of them all because he could have flown to the other side of the world and not intervened helping Zeus, but since he intervened Kratos had to kill him.
+Gest00rd It is, and look at the date this game was released. Looks better than most games that are meant to have good graphics that are ahead of it's time.
So something I noticed about the difference between the norse gods and the greek gods is how their magic/god power works. The greek gods seem to directly harness the power of their world, which leads to catastrophic events if they die. Whereas the Norse gods use weapons, tools, or weave the magic they need from existing energies. Explains why the Greek gods have such dramatic deaths, but the Norse gods deaths were more subdued. Cool details honestly.
That's why I don't consider norse gods gods at all. They seem like a bunch of magicians who use tools and tricks to me. Also, they are mortal unlike the greek gods.
@@joshuahiltpold248 You're confusing immortality with invincibility. Immortality just makes you immune to natural deaths. Being murdered by a weapon made by gods is obviously going to kill one.
The Olympians were simply on another level than the Aesir/Vanir deities. When Kratos explains how the Fates could control time and by killing them he literally undid his own death, Freya even admits that not a single being from their realms had that kind of power. And that's just one example, seeing as the Greek gods and their progenitors were essentially the primordial beings of existence itself. Whereas the Norse gods/beings like the Giants were definitely powerful, but did not influence the world around them to nearly the same extent. Which is why Kratos doesn't think of them as much of a threat, I guess. Even holding back the strength he gains from bloodlust and rage, he was still able to defeat any and every one of them he came across. I personally think he could've beaten Odin by himself rather easily, but the inclusion of Atreus and Freya was for story purposes. Baldur was just a special case, since he was physically immune to damage before the mistletoe broke the spell. Though I'd be wiling to bet the Blade of Olympus would've made short work of that spell, which is why they had to make it "disappear". It's just too OP lol.
Hermès: Oh look who it is, Kratos, the ghost of Sparta, the fallen god, the cursed mortal. Kratos: to catch a fly from the ass of Zeus is not worth my time Hermès . 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
it's a tool to kill a god..you know for a boost since zeus is a league a head from kratos in term of god hood and godly powers..but even with his power alone kratos is almost as strong a zeus but can't defeat him unless he have that power of hope. which he actually posses since GOW 1 but can't use it.
Thank you. The whole plot of the game is wrong as he already could kill zeus in 2 and still has the blade. All he really needed to do was find a way back up there lol
Man the way Gaia and Kratos defeat Poseidon is so sick. I love that they decided to slow it down and zoom in when Gaia lands that punch and we see Kratos lunging in and grabbing him. Freakin awesome
Gaia: Kratos! Do I mean nothing to you?! Kratos: You did betray me and try and leave me behind for no reason... soooo *cuts her hand off* Me: Understandable, Gaia wtf.
It is pretty stupid “Hey, you know the guy who saved all of us from hell, beat death and fate itself. Killed gods before he became a full fledged god and wants revenge on people who betray him.” “Yeah” “Lets betray him!”
TheLatiosnlatias02 If I were Zeus and I could predict this could happen I would be like Oooh don't worry, I shall remove those visions THIS INSTANT. Would you like anything else, god of war friend of mine? Drinks are on me here in Olympus.
Nacho Amazing I don’t think they actually have the ability to erase his memory tbh or else Athena would have done it. I also don’t recall them saying they can erase his memories, only that they continually gave Kratos false hope by saying stuff like “Your sins will be forgiven once the bids are done” leading him to believe they can erase his sins. Kratos was pissed at Zeus because he tricked and tried to kill him in GOW2 even though he served the gods for many years. What Zeus really should have done to save his own ass was get on his knees, cry like a baby and try to ask for forgiveness than to continually feed Kratos’s rage by being an arrogant shit talking thunder god. Though I seriously doubt it will work lol.
It's awesome how in both games you see yourself lose all your upgraded health. I love it when sequels give you a reason for your loss of everything your character had in the previous game
Uhh...started? He loved and cared for his old family, as well as his daughter. I don't think his being tricked into killing them would have driven him insane otherwise.
My daughter is playing GOW4 and I am enjoying watching it. I decided to see the cut scenes from 3 to get a bit of back story and I cannot get over the differences in the games as far as graphics and cut scene story telling. 4 is visually stunning and flows like a movie in between the battle scenes; so far, this is seems mostly more battle scenes with just a few instances of dialogue. It is still very amazing to see but I am very aware it is a game.
Always love the bonds parents have with their kids through video games. Especially those with actual plot like GoW and not just random competitive sports/FPS games
2:00:37 It's now theorized that Kratos was dragged off to the Nine Realms of Yggdrasil by a pack of mystic wolves. Looking at that blood splatter, and considering the state he was in, it's plausible that Kratos was dragged away from the spot where he died, rather than spontaneously reanimating and walking/dragging himself away.
I love how the gods here were a bunch of cowards and whimpered while getting beaten to death. Baldur kicked his ass and went out more of a man then they did
meanwhile, Modi surpasses all the prior bosses in the bitch department. Literally crying as he ran away. For a son of thor, he was a grade A+ punk. Kind of laughable really. He lost his cool very quickly.
The only reason why he kick his ass was because he couldn't feel anything and if Baldur did have feeling than kratos would make him run away from him and still get killed.
@Jeanderson Souza I'll give you my whatsapp number and send you some screenshots of my English comments. You don't know me sir. I'm giving you my mother's swear.
Perhaps its just me but i hear so many times the background music singing : "Kratos! ....Cheetos! Leave.. that.. Burritoss!!!! ....... Kratos! ....Cheetos! Share.. that.. with Thanoss!!!!!
