God of War RAGNAROK on BOOSTEROID | BEST Way to Play at 4K 120 FPS!

God of War Ragnarok has released on PC and Boosteroid has launched it on the platform as fast as Thors lightning. For those who don’t know competitor GeForce Now has removed the original God of War from their service so new players cannot play the game. So in essence, they will not be adding this one either. Boosteroid on the other hand still has the original and now the sequel. How well does it play on the platform? I have plenty to discuss regarding how this is the BEST way to play the game on any platform PERIOD. Let’s talk about it.

I tried Boosteroid on my laptop, and it became comfortable to play even heavy games. No lag, just a great experience.

Recently tried Boosteroid, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service. I'm playing Cyberpunk 2077 without any problems, although my laptop obviously wouldn't have been able to pull it on its own. A great alternative to upgrading my PC

This is nowhere near maxed out graphics for this game that can only be achieved on the PS5 with hidden shaders hidden textures and hidden lighting effects AKA path traced global illumination.

I have trouble understanding what is the point of geforce now in removing god of war from their system? And even more why not put ragnarok??

Sony wanted it gone. Nvidia has an opt-in system. If the publisher says they don't want it on, Nvidia has to honor it

Hey guys! I tried boosteroid a month ago but it never locks to 60 FPS although I do lock it in boosteroid overlay settings. The result, unfortunately, is a lot of sutters when FPS is "trying" to jump over 60, otherwise very smooth gameplay. Their online support unfortunately was not able to help. Any ideas? I tried to lock to 60 FPS both in game and with boosteroid overlay.

Did you increase the bitrate in the app settings with Ctrl + F2?

@@CloudGamingBattle I have set everything to 60, in the app settings and ingame settings (Red Dead Redemption 2). Comparing to Nvidia GeForce Now, I do not have any issues on Nvidia streaming services. But they do not have RDR2 and God of War Ragnarok :(

Set it to 120. Max bitrate. Boosteroid sets these low on default. GFN has an auto setting which Boosteroid needs to have as well. In-game, turn Vsync or max frame rate off

@@CloudGamingBattle I see. Actually I also did limit in GeForce Now to 60. I have 60 ping to Nvidia EU Central because I am from Middle East and I am afraid none of the streaming service will get a stable picture at 120 FPS. For me the 60 FPS is just perfect and it works so much well with Nvidia service and I wish boosteroid worked the same. Thanks for your time trying to help me.

Probably. Your internet speed also plays a factor. You might have to wait until servers come closer to the Middle East

It takes a lot of work to add games to the platform. They have also removed many in the past. The more games there are, the more there is to maintain

The more games you have, the more that need to be updated on servers around the world. (The Install section is not really installing games. It just puts the legal aspect on you)
