Fun fact, slugpups canonically go to hell. They have a 100% spawn chance in rubicon and you can see it if you enable slugpups in saint’s campaign

Ah yes, a depressed rant about a game that the main character is a hybrid between a cat and a slug, that one has the intelligence to build a grenade within its stomach for some reason

In my first survivor play through, I downloaded a mod to give every campaign slugpups (and I don’t regret it) and at the start I found a slug pup I named Jeremy, I thought of Jeremy like an actual child to me, and I would protect him with my life. When I beat the game, I went to the shelter where I left Jeremy (and another slugpup i named David who I found close to the end) and they were both gone, I honestly almost stopped playing for the rest of the day because my friend assured me that I couldn’t get them back because ascending counts as a successful cycle so that mean they died. Rest in peace Jeremy and David. EDIT: I just realised that I have set myself up for another tragedy, I found 2 slugpups in my hunter play through and the fact that you can only live for 20 cycles means I can’t even do anything after I ascend because it will have no point, I’ll just die in the end, considering what hunter turns into in gourmands campaign, that means that if I die near my slugpups, they will die as well, doomed to who they knew as their father but in reality is just some rot with no emotion. I plan to leave my slugpups with looks to the moon before I ascend so they can have a happy life for their remaining cycles and won’t just be left to starvation like Jeremy and David. Something more nicer and happier that happened is that I found 3 slugpups in my survivor campaign and since I don’t have to ascend, they are going to stay so that is good until I stop playing or reset which probably won’t happen in a long time. Anyway survivor got a happy ending to me and hunter wont get one unfortunately. I just realised I wrote a paragraph about some pixels and lines of code in a video game.

I have a little slugpup named Mallo that I met immediately after unlocking slugpups. I have a mod installed which gives them a pattern on their face that kinda looks like rosy cheeks. We go everywhere together, we got moons cloak, we dined on pebbles’ neurons and brought one to moon, we lineaged, tamed, and lost a red lizard, and explored the world on my back. If they died I’d reset the cycle and try again. I don’t usually get to see their personality as they always sit on my back during our trips but when they are out they show so much character, grabbing fruit for me (albeit the ones they don’t like) and running to my side when there’s danger. I think my main survivor save is at nearly 350 cycles now, over 200 of those spent with probably the most affectionate lines of code you ever did see. Not sure how to end this off :p

Coming back to your video. I thought you were correct, except for the end of your video. THEN, it occurred to me. Two problems. Can Slugcats have Slugpups when ascended, and how would the Slugpups be able to receive there karma? They at least need to experience the trial to be ready to ascend. But they should not be forced to start alone.

The answer is.. well uhh… complicated… uhhhhh
