We can love them, understand and support them but after a while m, their own feelings of insecurity flares up and they take it out on the main one supporting them. To become the scapegoat of someone else’s inability to pick themselves is a strange but disgusting type of betrayal. Just leave . @@AmbidextrousK Young man, if I may give you a word of advice as an older woman who has been married for 23 yrs. It is very likely that your apathetic mother abandoning you, has affected your psyche. This is likely why you said black women have been your enemy. Those unresolved issues with your mother would probably be rearing their head in your relationships. Please get some counselling. Level up re: the job. Either commit to go back to school or learn a trade. You are an intelligent young man and you have a lot of promise and you are well mannered. And yes, speak more assertively. Saying "I feel" negates or lessens the impact of what you are saying. This is nowadays "speak" which even I have had to correct my kids on. And please know that there still are good ones (BW) out there. They may be hard to find, but they exist. Blessings to you.

@@AmbidextrousK young man, you have potential but your going to have to work harder. most uber drivers i know are 6 figure earners on the app and their on the road 12-14hrs a day. if you don't want to do that, go back to the driving school and get a commercial license for heavy machinery especially crane operators. in California, an experienced crane operator or hoisting engineer starts at 107k in california and new york. lastly, get some therapy. you need it and there is no shame in that. I needed it and so do a lot of brothers. i wish you the best. God Bless

300 for gas and even more for car maintenance, taxes, etc. not to mention the huge fact that uber drivers leave out which is the long hours necessary to make even that much money. Just a few years the data for the national average uber drivers earned showed it was $11/hr. Driving for 20 hours/day or 12 hours/day now that they have a limit then switching over to Lyft after your account gets temporarily disabled for driving too long doesn't count.

I'm so glad I found my equally yoked partner long ago. We met in the military so we both at the time we met were earning about 45k. Today she does out earn me; she went to school and got a masters degree and I have two associate degrees. I do well for myself; I work for a Tech company providing technical support for a program. Its crazy. 20 years before I knew this brother existed I was on my 60+ hrs while going to school. Never graduated because i got a job that replaced the income of the 2+ jobs i always kept. 15 years later, i realized that wasn't for me and went to trade school at 40. In less than 3 years i made more than white collar job. KS was spot on about Blue Henry making more than Blake Henry. Just wait til i go on my own.

Damn! I wish I had this content on my early 20s, I wasted so many years of my life being a broke musician. It wasn't until I (mostly my fault) ruined my first marriage that I understood that real men do what's necessary, women and children do what makes them FEEL happy. I forsook music and started in a lucrative career and later opened up my own businesses and became so wealthy I elected to retire at 39. I wish Kevin had put out more content talking to men as well. RIP Godfather!

For men, I think it might be better to equate ‘feelings’ with ‘gut instinct’. Feelings are associated with emotions, and that word doesn’t sit well with men nowadays. But gut instinct goes hand in hand with making decisions, being decisive, surveilling situations and people, solving problems - things involved with taking leadership. Feelings / Gut Instincts… just as valuable as Thinking, but the semantics get some men caught up.
