Having been a fan of Godzilla since I was a kid and a Magic player for many years I was ecstatic when I saw Wizards of the Coast did a crossover during Ikoria. Now with Godzilla vs Kong coming out soon and my wanting to start up a RU-vid channel, this seemed like the perfect opportunity to make something fun!
With the 20 Godzilla series cards to act as a starting point we're going to look to build a flavorful and functional commander deck. We'll look to other monsters from Godzilla's extensive rogues gallery to help flesh out the deck and then also add in some flavorful spells to help grease the wheels and give the deck some extra functionality.
The deck is expensive to build if you don't already have all of the pieces, but if there is enough demand for it I can definitely do a follow-up video for a budget alternative!
