That's what inspires me to be a creator on social media. To fill in the gaps. I too search and don't find what I'm looking for. So, I research and question those in the know in my community and come up with a plan and outcome. This is the result. Luckily for me, my neighbor across the road is a plumber. One whom I can inquire from as well. Thanks again.

Don't forget as far north as Vancouver BC, Canada too Jerry, we had horrible heat and fires, that wiped out entire small towns. Last year was 53C which equals almost 130 degrees Fahrenheit in /my house, without A/C. I had a 17 year old black lab that couldn't even walk because of the heat. I had to leave my house and check into a hotel with A/C for ten days. Im not that young either anymore, and actually couldn't barely breath, with the smoke and heat!!!! If we wouldn't have left, we both would have died. Were supposed to get more of the same this year.....not looking forward to it....and my poor baby ended up dying anyway.....UGH

Use a ball valve instead of a faucet. Can adapt pipe thread to hose thread.

My daddy done the same thing to his water well I have it right now connect it up it work great thanks for showing it to me my daddy Dug his own water well 200ft down fresh clean Cold water great tasting water tks again

Put you stuff on the east side of a hill or mountain. Bury much underground. That's why much of the military bases are underground

Thank you for your help. Only thing I’ll do differently is use fittings that don’t restrict as much flow, like the quick connections and hose bibs. I like gate valves when possible.

I enjoyed my week long trip with them despite me not having no money or change of clothes while on the trip I thought it was going to be overnight 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ uh no overnight with long haul truckers I seen some beautiful country and met some awesome people and my respect for truckers had went to infinity since then I had a lot before but after that even more. ❤️ And to see the the side of the truckers in dealing with traffic issues I m so glad for two things cameras and animation now

Watching him with his gigantic hands fix the most delicate things was amazing. His wedding ring size was 13. He was 6 ft 5, but compared to my uncle's my mom's brother's he was the small guy. Not by much though.

23:14 That fill valve is something we needed years up at camp. Over the years people have set up systems where an overflow spits water where we will see it, telling us to shut off the supply. Others refined the method and made the overflow water strike a bell. The fill valve is the solution. tHanks for the video

How do you keep this tank from freezing?

I just installed the tank and this Spring will be building an insulated building around it with the same color scheme as the rest of my homestead. The temps here in my region rarely dip below freezing for long periods of time. So for now, it does not freeze solid and during the day the blackness of the tank absorbs the heat of the sun throughout the day and radiates it through the night.

Does the blue vent cap on the lid work as an overflow valve? I have 1GPM on inlet but don't have a pressure switch, not sure if the vent cap is enough to protect the tank if someone forgets to turn off the pump.

What kind of foundation base do you have? Is that just the regular soil you have there? I'm on sandy loam and clay and debating on setting up a gravel pad for mine

My land is soil with clay, I laid several inches of sand down over the top and set the tank on top of that. Poured quickcrete cement around the edges to maintain it. Future show will be to shroud the tank in insulation and wrap it in metal siding to protect the tank from UV light and keep the water temp constant and unfrozen through the winter months. In the next day or so I am adding a high pressure RV 12 volt water pump powered by solar panels, charge controller and deep cycle 12 volt battery. The gravity feed is not what I'm happy with. Too low of pressure.

Whatever size hose bib or water line you plan on installing will determine the size you want for your project.

Those areas in Washington, Oregon, California burnt up because people are building homes in places they shouldn’t be. Fires are a natural occurrence in those forests as it’s supposed to be to reduce the underbrush and dead grass.

@@pinemeadowshobbyfarmafruga8319 anything dry is going to burn but what I was trying to convey is that fires have always been a natural occurrence in those forests for millennia. If people were stupid enough to start flooding those areas with homes so of course they’re going to burn as well when those fires start. Those fires weren’t necessarily a big deal until people started to build homes there and now it’s being blamed on climate change. In my opinion it’s not a good idea to live in those areas.

About solar panels there's a company in New Jersey called GFX? that has thin flexible solar panels that attached like shingles you might want to look into it and get an inverter as well I went on a week long trip with my little sister and then boyfriend they're long haul truckers and they had and inverter in there truck so they could watch movies and had a mini fridge in it.

This tragic event which I was referring to was the Almeda Fire which sparked next to the water treatment plant in Ashland, Oregon. Unusually high winds fanned the flames Northward to the towns of Talent, Phoenix and Medford, Oregon burning around three thousand homes not to mention businesses. The power failed at the water treatment plant and power lines were melted Northward. As homes and businesses burned to the ground in Talent, the water service was melted and what water there was all ran out onto the ground leaving every community down stream without pressure. Oh yeah they claim rainwater but it's nature's fault during a flood again genius 🤷🏼‍♀️🙄🙄🙄🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 all sarcasm aside 🙄, is there a way to capture the the excess of a flood for crops for a later date without it molding?🤨 I mean to filter the water for later use I've always had that thought even as as kid, my dad was my has always been the inspiration as well as others but he was the main inspiration for my crazy ideas that I still have.
