The egoic defence is SO SO big in society...it’s so easy to see, but much harder to see it in ourselves 😢. Thanks so much for this much needed message 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Liked the explanation of thinking pattern of mind when practioner practices meditation. Especially this observation of pain objectively, without associating with it and importantly looking at pain not avoiding & running away from it. 🙏

No need to be a munk and move to a mountain. Dukkha don't care if you live in celibacy and shave your head. Rituals aren't necessary. The only problem is right here right now. And it can only be solved from right here and right now.

What an awful tone: he’s winning and sound disappointed. I feel pain listening to him, because of empathy. Empathy is what allows us to feel for each other and take care of those we love, which is what allowed us to survive as a species. Mammals have emotions because they’re social animals. I don’t believe in reincarnation. Anyway, if the goal of stopping the cycle of reincarnation was achieved by everyone we’d go extinct. So it’s like collective suicide. Crazy. Something I agree with is that our heart can ache and some people eats to cope with that pain. That’s obviously not a solution and can even become a vicious cycle. Meditation may be useful to heal the heart. It should be a practice to live better lives.

Every holy man.. every holy institution carries the very heavy Weight of their individual Faiths..Labels. RU-vid has a global audience. Thailand is known for its graceful culture. < a gentle suggestion- Why don't the very learned Ajahn whom I find so Strict yet so kind to impart precious pure Dhamma, Advise the temple cleaners that He would prefer to spit into a tissue..n throw it in a recyclable biodegradable plastic bag to be discarded? The cleaners would find it easier to discard.> Thanks 🙏🏼
