Mten3 Good for party tricks LOL 🤣🤣 Love it! I don't know what it is but backwards riding has not clicked with me yet. The struggle is real. Cool video Duf.
In New Zealand on news was e car costing ten times as much as petrol to charge. Same cost got 20km e car range. Petrol car 200km range same cost. 25c a minute parking fee at charge spot plus charge costs. I charge my wheel on a solar panel.
V10F - 16 by 2.5 inch tire (not 18 inch), 45 lbs, 2000 watt motor (but peak power relatively low) 20S4P 84 volt pack, external handle, 40 amp fuse, top speed GPS 23 mph (Inmotion reported speed is about 7% high, in this case 25 mph, but actual speed is 23 mph). KS 18L - 18 by 2.5 inch tire, 48 lbs, 2000 watt motor, 20S4P 84 volt pack, 60 amp fuse, top speed about GPS 28 mph (if you can find a dealer that sells 18L instead of 18XL). S18 - 18 by 3.0 inch tire, 55 lbs, 2200 watt motor, 20S3P 84 volt pack (molicel version recommended), 60 amp fuse (3 by 20), top speed about GPS 28 mph.
Good points! I started on a V11, but have noticed interesting differences each time I have ridden a "new" wheel. Smaller wheels seem to be a bit "squirrely" and movements are quick. Larger and heavier wheels are more challenging to turn due to increased weight. It's all relevant I suppose and just takes experience for a rider to work through. Great video, as always Duf! Hope you're doing well buddy!! 👍
I think the INMOTION V10 is the perfect sweet spot for a midsize wheel that’s lightweight and easy to maneuver. It’s the wheel I learned to ride on. Even though my Onewheel gets most of the love recently.
Fully agree, but what I found is the big wheels like the v13, EX30 and so on is just too big for the terrain I ride. Also the weight is just too much for lugging it around. For me the upgrade path would be like you said S18 and then maybe the S22 or Patton. I think that patton is a great sweetspot with range and build quality and also suspension. Still to ride one as I would like a second wheel again to go with me S22. Keep well
I think its best to start on smallest wheel you can find. Smaller the better. Its better to learn to defeat wobble at 10kph than 100kph. Once youve mastered small then go bigger. Love my monster. Cant wait for a suspension wheel. I see your using pads now, they look nice, forward and back gap lo9ks good, tho your foot is not held down. I like to jump up curbs not bash into them, so need to be able to pull up with feet for that.
Hey Duf, the first third of this video I felt like I was watching the OG Little Rascals bc it sounded like their music, lol. Good info in the video! The Sherman S doesn't look too big in the video but I know it weighs a lot. The differences in paint are unfortunately noticeable but if I were you I would just hang pictures up where the old pictures used to be.
Prefer my Onewheel pint x and GT for small wheel riding. EUC for me is for range and speed, so bigger is the only way to go. Mten3 is hilariously small. I went through many tubes on mine. V10F was an old wheel of mine too and I’d prefer to never have a wheel that small again
I started with a bigger wheel and Don’t under estimate making your wheel even fatter with padding. I used floor mats that comic cons use for armor attached Velcro and now the wobbles are far less. I’m only 5’9 and found the pads allow me to squeeze the wobble away. It’s a thigh master of fear.
