You get alot of mutant parts because you have a hunting backpack! :P Gives you a higher chance of finding loot on mutants! BTW, if you just click and hold the middle mouse button while aiming at a companion, you can reach their inventory by clicking the backpack icon (OR just press number 8 on your numberpad :D ). Anyways, great job with the videos man! Always a delight to watch your videos ^^
35% more population in the zone! AI is more dynamic with patrols. Armor is added to the outfit, backpack frames added to the backpack and the MRE's unpack with actual food instead of the old cheese slab animation (stevemre1989 would be proud). Things make sense with this mod! Great video!
this series really has me itching to play some efp...great video! I really love the commentary...you are really good at keep me engaged! Thanks for the content I am looking forward to this series.
i dont vibe as much with EFP as GAMMA but you're always a fun watch no matter the game and you keep me invested and interested regardless, can't wait for more of this series!!
A few tips: You can add mag pouches to armor in order to get a better distribution of the mags you want to run around with for instance if you want more extended mags or pistol mags just get the corresponding mag pouch size you can add to the armor. Same is true for the armor plates. If You hold R you can select the ammo type you loaded in the mags with what ever you top loaded being what will pop up in the selection wheel so you know what mags you're loading. If you mix the ammos in the mags you'll save your good ammo that way by using the good ammo to break through the armor and the weaker ammo to just do the flesh damage needed to kill them.
more keybinds you should know: double R for weapon inspect (for easier thumbnails) - and hold R for ammo select F6 to check time (wrist watch needed I think) double tap mouse 5 for different sight view
You do such a good job with your STALKER vids. The UNSIG playthrough in gamma was awesome and i think you said to do a monolith run, but to do that in another mod, is so good from a viewers perspective. Keep doing this shit, cant humble you more :D
A really nice mod just to change up the feel of the game is the stick grenade mod, it adds 2 stick grenades and an anti-tank grenade. There's also the flashbang mod but it's a more janky.
Just a tip for the future: once you get your hands on combat backpack it not only has a good carry weight parameter, is also increases the number of mags you can carry on your loadout (if I'm not mistaken by 1/2/2 - large/medium/small)
You can upgrade your backpack to carry more loot, and you can install backpack frames to carry even more loot Also, iirc, there is a trait that buff companions, and there is a trait that buff yourself, so choose wisely because the next trait point will take too much time to appear again
You can use mouse 3 to give commands to your companions (including access their inventories) If you are aiming at one companion the command you give will be to that companion else it's for everyone (far or near)
If you want stashes to be sorted like your inventory here's what you do. Pause the game > Mod configuration menu > Sorting plus > Check Sort NPC inventory. I would recommend you go down the whole list of mod settings in this menu to fine tune EFP to your liking. Hope this helps!
Somebody probably already said it, but that 'stalker counter' was something in the original games. Same with detection and noise you make. It's less of a 'cheat' and more of a classic feature. I like the counter more for 'knowing if I have anyone left to kill' than anything else. Borgis, gone but not forgotten. 😞
You get more parts cause you have a hunting kit. Later on, I suggest you keep carrying one in your inventory to get extra parts from those really good mutants
Another comment, hope you don't mind them scattered 😂 Instead of buying backpacks, buy chests (from the furniture mod) those have much more space/rubles.
Anyone know if theres a way to add those Monolith perks (zombie buddies and strolling through blowouts) to Gamma? I really want to do a Monolith playthrough but there's not really a payoff for doing the early game grind with a Toz and basic gasmask in Pripyat. Hanging out with Monolith doing Monolith shit really does look fun though. These guys are so goofy. Abra kadabra! Also I really like the tall bright green grass, not sure if it's an influence on that particular mod, but it reminds me a lot of the Tarkovsky film. I always thought it was weird that Stalker is generally pretty dingy and brown when the work that it's (roughly) based on is one of the most lush and vibrant movies ever put to film.
It is probably just me, but I'm terrible at finding bodies or remembering which ones I have already looted, so you could add the mod that shows bodies on the minimap. It is 169 - Body dots on minimap in the Gamma pack.
i think the better PDAs will give bodies. its part of the game progression. Qloud was sad at the contents of the stash but all those electronics parts are really good for crafting better gear.
Loving this playthrough my dude! I think your companion's name, Bourgeois, is pronounced Bore-zhwah, just in case you wanted to say a few words at his funeral.
Just checked EfP discord and apparently they do a lot of stuff, but it's far away from any potential release at this point... can't wait for that one after my n-th GAMMA playthrough. There are 2 zooms in Gamma (ADS and other) but have no idea to which key bind the other one...
Only started watching your vids like 2 months ago, have watched all your gamma play throughs, please keep it up, they're a blast to watch, excited to see how efp holds up compared to gamma. I have only played anomaly(as well as soc and cop) and I was envious of the crafting system in gamma, but not sure I can run all those mods on the laptop I'm using
Hey qloud i belive you know but just in case since you have normal water why not use your mineral water to make purified meals since those give the best stats no rads and bonuses depending from what the meal was made
I played EFP before GAMMA and I gotta say, I love EFP gamma not so much it was too dark and i felt like I was playing a different type of game not saying GAMMA was bad but the no mags and stuff was kinda not as fun for me it added another layer of being prepared for fights that i enjoyed. I'm not sure if you purposely leave it off but it was tough to play this game without the little dogtag/identifier mod for me because it was my first stalker experience so I don't know the uniforms that well from just looking at guys but pretty much it just lets you look at a guy and after you aim or look at them for a short amount of time you character identifies what faction they are from(which is also customizable in terms of how long it takes your character to determine what faction they are from). I been waiting for some EFP vids from you though man, good luck in the playthrough lol I despise Monolith tho lol
How did you install your minimap? I watched your video about adding mods to EFP, but when I attempt to add the mod in, the mod never shows up in game. I also followed the directions on the mod page. Just curious what steps you took for it to work. Thank you!
I reinstalled squareDOV. I’m not sure if that’s necessary but if you didn’t I would try that. Then reinstall the minimap mod. Delete shader cache as well when you launch
i started playing EFP not long ago but i dont have taskboard in PDA like in all videos i have seen, do i need to enable it in settings somewhere or download some additional mod?
You should consider playing on warfare since there is no storymode for monolith. Warfare would atleast give your character a purpose so your endgame isnt just a grind to the best gear.
oh heck yeah, don't want to be a downer but I don't have high hopes for stalker 2, I have a feeling its going to be like diablo 3 and 4, very consolised but I've been wrong every step of my life so don't listen to me ever! love the EFP vids and I'm slowly trying to catch up on UNISG series I'm like half way through and loving it!
@@saava.m4a474 it's a place with nothing to block growth... From people who i know and they were in chernobyl/pripyat, it looks like fairytale. If you go in spring/summer, it's colorful because of the plants. But yes, I agree that some places shouldn't be that much, as the Grey patern of buildings etc should be throwing a less vibrant colors.
