Nice video! Never been to South America, so I've yet to fly GOL, its interesting how some areas have different approaches to low cost airlines.

In some ways it beats Europe, Brasil used to include baggage and more snacks. It's sort of matched Europe now.

Gol isn't low cost at all. Due to excessive government regulations, there's a de facto cartel operating flights in the country with basically only 3 companies running domestic flights (Gol, Latam and Azul). The lack of competition means that prices are completely absurd, those 3 companies can do whatever they want, including delivering shitty services at scorching prices.

That was interesting to read. We aren't local so don't know the politics. However we were sad to see Avianca leave the local market. They were one of our favourites. The prices can be reasonable but we did see what it's like last minute and the fares we considered were high.
