Amazing video! The traslation of the Shahmameh Dick Davis did for Penguin Classics is one of the most thrilling reading experiences I've had so far this year: read less like scripture to me and more like the Persian equivelent to Homer's Oddyssy!

Yes, I have! I've read through a lot of Catholic devotional literature: Saint Teresa of Avila, Saint John of the Cross, Thomas a Kempis, Thomas Merton, et al. Wonderful!
@@LeafbyLeaf My personal favorite is Berserk by Kentaro Miura. The story is phenomenal, and while the art in the first few volumes is nothing special it improves to the point of being considered the best art in manga. Warning it is very graphic and deals with a lot of harsh themes. Three more greats are Monster, Vagabond, and Vinland Saga
