Rubber Ducky Prospecting #1 - Andy and Barbara are back in the Southern Motherlode of California on a seasonal creek that is not fed by snow melt and the water is getting low. Today we talk about the Keene Engineering A52S Super Sluice and show that it does work great in lower slower water. I will give some tips I have learned about using the sluice in these conditions.

Now that is my kind of gold digger. I just got a A52S a couple weeks ago. My first sluice. Have used it once here at home. Our water is wide and flat so hard to get pitch. Thinking about getting the hi banker and maybe the dredge I have a pump. We found some fines in a few hours of good fun.

Love the A52S and hopefully you will too! Remember if the water is really slow you can pull off the top metal layer and use it just like an A52 regular sluice with classified material.

I do try to do a little teaching. I learned a lot from other yuotube prospectors and try to pass on what I have learned over the years for others just getting started. Every gold producing area is a little different, we spend most of our time in the southern motherlode of California around Yosemite, while the basics are the same there is some difference just because the geology is different compared to the guys up on the Yuba or down in SoCal. Glad you enjoy our adventures, and I hope you have amazing adventures searching for the elusive shiney where you are!
