Every day we learn something new. In this outing I learned “that boat don’t float” 😃. After testing a plunge pool drop off, I moved on to an inside bend corner. From there we move on to crevicing some bedrock cracks before calling it a trip. On this two day prospecting outing I learned a lot more about where the gold is settling in this area as well as just how much work it is to find it.

Looks like a great place! If you look at the smallest bit of fly poop colour - that's about what I find 🤣Just one bit mind you 😂1 bucket 1 fly poop! Yay.. lol

Made a few dirt boats 🚢 Get 2" construction foam sheet cut in half pl2000 that doubled up to the bottom of the sled then cover in flex seal paint on. Then get a large diameter pool noodles slide it in a pvc pipe and cut in half fasten both those pieces to the top rim around the sled.

Nice! Was thinking of making pontoons lol. Will probably jump in the wetsuit and haul buckets. Will be diving that hole eventually to clean the bedrock.

Hope you like it brother! There is a little learning curve with set up however once you understand the flow rate it needs you will be able to set it up quick. It takes me no time at all now to set up.

@buffalokrisgoldprospecting I know for a fact it has caught 100 mesh gold for me. You and Raymond seem to have a good system with classifying material. I’d run classified material until you get use to it, just my two cents. Once you get use to it though then it’s off to the races and you’ll be a machine with it.

I came home today after difficult digging. My son visited his mother for Mother's Day and saw my 16 micro gold pieces. Why are you doing this, father, was his question. Simple answer: it was a beautiful day. ⚒👍🤠

Brother for the love of.... YOUR POOR HANDS! Get you some gloves ! I like to wear a combo of those "elbow length" thin dish washing gloves, and some NICE rubberized garden gloves on top for when the water is COLD! When the water isn't cold obviously you can wear either glove and be ok but the garden gloves are more comfy and protect your fingers from sharp rocks , minimize pinch damage and just let you use your hand more like a shovel (because we miners do that either way) Might as well protect your shovels!
