Being a Golden Retriever Owner I can tell that it's not as easy as it seems to raise a Goldie. Even though they are one of the most intelligent and gentle dogs, there are quite a few challenges that every new parent goes through. So I decided to share all the advice and tips for raising a Golden Retriever.

Team Golden Retriever. I own both and prefer my calm golden retrievers to my hyper golden doodle. My golden doodle is so friendly she knocks me over for affection. She is super loving.

I firmly believe Golden Retrievers are the most perfect dog for anyone and they’re absolutely incredible, that being said, I love that Goldendoodles exist for people like my girlfriend who desperately wanted a dog but is super allergic to them. We recently got a Goldendoodle puppy and she’s been absolutely incredible and we get to experience a lot of those great Golden Retriever traits in our little puppy! ❤️🐶❤️

I love my golden. Best dog we've ever had. First big dog and nothing compares to this beautiful amazing breed. He loves my kids and he always wants attention no matter what you're doing lol but they will win your heart in a heart beat

I have both. 3 1/2 yo Momma golden retriever I rescued from breeding mill and 6 month daughter golden doodle also from puppy mill

Golden doodles have too much energy, some could be hyper. They will run around, jump tug and pull a lot. They are also quite independent. Independent but they will almost always want to be with you. Retrievers are more docile, chill pups. They just want to be with you and play with you. That are lot more cuddly being more chill in nature.

My golden retriever cooper is a big goof but also a little Mischievous and likes to chew on things and I am trying to get him not too but he keeps doing it so what do I do btw he’s a Lovable happy dog but still what do I do to make him stop chewing on my furniture

I grew up with Goldens my entire life and it would be my preference to get one, however my significant other is incredibly allergic. It looks like the Groodle will win here.

I actually think doodles are smarter but because of their independent streak they come as complete a holes. They appear dumb, hard to train and just incorrigible. I have three doodles in the neighborhood and only one of them is good. Lots of Golden’s in the neighborhood and there isn’t one I don’t like. Go golden every time. Waaay better dogs.

Hey everyone, I got a golden retriever 1 month back I love him a lot but he's a Lil agressive and tries to bite us all the time. We can't even leave him in the room for 2 mins because he starts to bark. What should I do to make him stay in the room longer and reduce his seperation anxiety?? Pls help

First you can watch the video "How to stop your golden retriever puppy from biting". As for the barking after you leave, most people say that you need to say goodbye to them. You do that just by cuddling for about 10 or 5 minute's before you leave. But of course almost every golden retriever has separation anxiety, so it may take a while. Hope this helps.

Well that's normal please don't tie him Well you have to release his energy make him play until he is bit tired and after that he is still again active Then again make him tired But not so much tired up to some limit I hope what I am trying to say i am able to make you understand And you can also watch RU-vid videos

It's still a puppy, so it's normal. It won't bite hard. Don't tie it. This behaviour will go away as it grows up

A labrador goldie cross is a workhorse great with kids and other dogs and easy to train. And is great for taking out in the scrub because it's got a shorter, low-maintenance coat.

ive had both dogs and i honestly think a goldendooodle ive never not had one and i can get allergic around shedding but for me its easy that goldendooodle wins and there not as hiper as you think there more lazy than hiper

a Golden Doodle is a Mutt people. Just a mutt. There are no such things as pure bred Golden Doodles. Doesn't mean they can't be great pets, but they are mutts. They will not necessarily have the benefits you are looking for and are not worth all the money.

You do realize that a golden retriever was invented by crossing two breeds: the a wavy-coated retriever and Tweed water spaniel (i.e., also a mutt)

Listen I’m not trying to break the hearts of the Retrievers but The Golden Retriever’s are mostly hyper then your standard Golden Doodles, INFACT I own a golden doodle that snuggle’s Sneeze’s a lot……. But there very polite even with there cheese lovers they will follow you no matter what you do with a cheese burger, Cheese fries and Nacho’s but Also One of my dogs Love My cat SoO much that the yeet along and snuggle and play sometimes, but anyway I would say Golden doodles

I have a golden and a golden doodle, the doodle is 3 and still acts like a puppy. You're in the minority on this one. Doodles have waaaay more energy.
