It's sad that Star Trek has been changed time and time again and the only pure production comes from independent productions that mirror Gene Roddenberry's vision. Kudos to you!!
Excellent work. Proof that good stories can be told in a short amount of time, and on a budget. I also love seeing two characters in a locked room work out a scene, anywhere. Wish I could crew for you.
moeskido We definitely tried to find a threshold of storytelling that would work for us, so very glad to hear that you've enjoyed it. Thank you so much for watching! :)
So much to love about your films! I'm a huge fan of Enterprise, so it's a real treat to see some original stories being set in this era. It's refreshing to see some powerful and emotional character-based stories as well. I'm blown away by the authenticity of the sets, props and costumes. I'm also appreciative that your scripts don't rely on name-checking ships and characters from the series, it really helps the films stand on their own merits. And I'm a sucker for Velton Ray Bunch's Enterprise scores! Thanks for sharing; I can't wait for more!
Thank you so much for your comment! We've been trying out best to recreate the ENTERPRISE-era as best we can, as well as trying to tell stories that are a little bit different so we're very pleased to hear you are enjoying our work! :)
I love the approach to the medium. If you cannot make longer fan films make shorter ones that focus exclusively on characters. This approach works well because we see less fighting and more on exploration of sentient beings. Really really well done.
Excellent; very tight and effective story, handled well. Two thoughts: newspapers would be anachronistic for the era; and while the music is also excellent, it can be more powerful if not used wall to wall - silence can be very telling. Just trying to be constructive.
I love the work. From the uniforms, I take it it's from the Enterprise NX-01 era. What are they doing (before the UFP even exists?) dealing with issues as far away as Bajor? Curious.
Although the initial location is not explicitly stated on screen; with references to Rigel V, the Rigellians and a 'trading outpost', we had intended for the first scene to take place at the trade complex on Rigel X, as seen in the Enterprise pilot 'Broken Bow' - so pretty much the other side of the galaxy.
It is stated in the TNG episode that introduced the Bajorans that they had space travel centuries before humanity did. It wasn't until the Cardassian Occupation that their society had to go down a few pegs in technology. I think it's cool to see a Bajoran in the ENT era far from home, yet it still give no formal contact with the people.
IT DOESN'T MATTER IF HE SAVED 5 OR 500 , THE POINT IS HE SAVED LIVES THAT DAY, AND HE CAN BE OF VALUE ONCE MORE, AS THIS EPISODE DROVE HOME!!GARY BAILEY KING OF DARKNESS EXCELLENT PRESENTATION
Welcome to the perceptions of the reigning cultures of our world. Whether it's called American exceptionalism or Christian Morality, we can keep Guantanamo Bay open for as long as we wish while condemning Chins for _its_ supposed human rights abuses because the majority of people accept where a doctrine is dictated _from_ as morality, always allowing themselves the moral loophole that children use to avoid responsibility, fooling no one.
He does rather, doesn't he. I was thinking that during filming too. I had this idea about a Chakotay short film, set pre-Voyager, about how he leaves Starfleet to join the Maquis and wish I'd saved Frank for that instead! Ahaha, oh well.
PLEASE CLEAN YOUR AUDIO IT SOUNDS CHEAP AND MAKES YOUR OTHERWISE EXCELLENT PRODUCTION SOUND LIKE IT CAME FROM A HIGH SCHOOL PRODUCTION ALL THAT WORK COULD BE LOST BECAUSE AUDIO MAKES OR BREAKS EVEN THE BEST PRODUCTIONS OTHERWISE WELL DONE
WOW, DUDE! WHAT WOULD IT MATTER EVEN IF IT WAS A HIGH SCHOOL PRODUCTION? IT'S A GOOD STORY. I HOPE YOU'VE GROWN UP IN 3 YEARS... Leaving filth like this for the world to see.
