Go back to Keto man. I’m off keto too but several of your keto recipes are still my staples. Eg: cheese and broccoli soup. So many delicious easy recipes that can swap ingredients with ease. You were so awesome at it and that’s what put you up there. Leaving behind what you’re awesome at is heartbreaking😢
You don’t have to explain anything to anyone. You do what you have to do. You tube is a good job for those who work hard at it. Like any business, there are ups and downs you work through them and keep moving forward.

Hey Sahil, sending hugs from Texas❤ I'm so sorry to hear things are not going well, I know the pain of the rent situation, the place I rent for my grooming shop has gone up so much the last 5 years I'm not sure I'm gonna be able to sign another lease this year, because they'll probably go up again😥 I also share your frustration with people not understanding that you DO work hard at what you do- I get comments all the time about how I "play with dogs all day" uh, yeah, that's NOT an accurate description of what I do, lol, it's actually back breaking stressful work😂❤I wish you could find the magic key to reinvigorate your channel, it's mind blowing that a channel with over 600k subscribers is floundering financially, I'm so sorry, my friend! I don't know why, but for whatever reason, your new videos often don't show up on my notifications, even though I've tapped the bell for all. I have a few other you tubers that are that way, also - I'm wondering, is RU-vid determining what notifications are prioritized? This is the first one of yours I've seen in a while! I have to be honest, I found your channel because of the keto content, and I have stayed because of your personality! You are so entertaining, enthusiastic, and funny, you always made me smile❤ Since I still do a grain free, sugar free, low carb diet, the non low-carb videos are not as interesting for me, so there are quite a few I would skip. I really love the low-carb Indian food videos, those are my favorite, but anything low-carb, for me, is good, doesn't have to be keto. Maybe you could rotate your recipes between keto, ketovore, carnivore, and low-carb, just kinda hit that whole end of the spectrum and appeal to a wider audience. I don't know, I'm just trying to think of something helpful❤ I hope you figure out something that works for you, I can imagine how frustrating this is for you! And from one musician to another, I also understand playing for the love of music, not the non existent money, lol, that's me too😂❤ I decided that being a paid dog groomer was preferable to being a starving musician, lol, I like eating and having electricity 😂❤ I did find a way to have fun with my music, though, and I play at the Texas Renaissance Festival that's not too far from where I live- it's only 8 weekends in the fall, but it's a blast! In addition to requiring a regular (and frequent) posting schedule, RU-vid has changed the algorithm to require channels to get very narrow in focus. In essence, it's best to make multiple channels that each have very specific content rather than one channel with a range of broadly related topics.
Yep, this here. Even if you quit keto, could have kept this channel for keto recipes since that way of eating is still all the rage with no sign of slowing. Then make a alt account for the non-keto, unique recipes to gain new followers. I think that would have been a smart move.

Sahil, I found your channel when I started on Keto and still use some of your recipes for myself and with my students with whom I cook as part of my English classes. I slowly fell off the bandwagon with my keto but have started again because I felt the healthiest while on keto. Anyway, it is true that I haven't been watching your videos, but I've never wanted to cancel my subscription because I like you and your recipes. We are fickle. Weirdly you disappeared off my feed completely for a while until recently. Keep it up tho please! I have a tiny kitchen, same 1950 kitchen for many yrs, (no dishwasher or disposal for ex, about 2 feet of counter, if that) last thing to upgrade in our tiny house after 25 yrs. Looking forward to seeing how you handle it! You can do it!. I always feel constraints are great for creativity.

first of all, just want to say thanks for making this channel. I think I first found it out b/c "keto" diets are generally diabetic friendly, which I found myself navigating a few years ago. what I loved the most was the combination a cooking channel with metal, which was just so unique and refreshing to me, especially as someone who loves metal. youtube, the algorithm, and all this social media stuff, can be pretty brutal, so I also wanted to say thank you for being so transparent about the reality of trying to do this full time. I'll keep watching your vids b/c regardless of keto or not, I am *still* diabetic and like to eat food that doesn't taste like boring bland trash lol. I'm living in Austria. The rent has shot up here, too. You're not alone. At least you don't have to get a new kitchen. We do. Therefore moving is extremely expensive. What I love most about your cookbook / recipes is the simplicity. Straight forward and delicious. In my opinion this sets you apart from the rest. This is how I need my life to be. I have a Sterlite container of ingredients I don't use or have room for.

I'm sorry about that. Seems that rents and cost of housing in general are becoming sky high in many places in the world. Same here where I live, I am very lucky I managed to buy a small house many years ago before it became way too expensive. I’ve NEVER lost weight in my life unless I had a gall bladder attack…80+ pounds twice many years apart. Once I had surgery for that, the weight has just been there. My husband found you and Keto for Beginners when he was at 246 pounds at 5’7.” He’s now 213 and continuing to lose. I have lost 15 pounds and reformed me thinking about carbs. Thank you for helping do something I have never been able to do before!
What's popular now is to put carnivore or ketovore title of the videos where that fits. I would go back through some videos and tag the ones that fit as carnivore or ketovore for new hits even on old videos.
I have been a fan of your work for several years now. I admit that my own consumption of YT is extremely diverse and I tend to binge on certain creators work to the point of viewer's fatigue. Unfortunately, I binge and move on to the next. The only advice I could offer, is that from my own perspective, a creator's real job is to attempt to ascertain what will be popular in the future and remain popular (almost impossible). I will continue to sporatically watch and I wish you a long career.

I still watch your keto videos. You were the first keto person I found and liked. I wasn't even keto back then. I'm genuinely surprised that your latest videos do not have higher view counts. I assumed that keto was still a major trend and that your old recipe videos would still be pulling in the views. Sorry to hear about the flat! I think some of the drop can be attributed to RU-vid overload, especially during Covid. So many people I know are cutting the cord and heading outside with the family. Me included! I cut way back on my RU-vid channels (But not yours) and fishing channels. 🙂 I don't care if you only have a hotplate and an oven I will still watch. I think you're one of the best channels out there.

Just to say that I cook at least one of your keto recipes each week. And I also use your cook book regularly. I don't think the kitchen or utensils are that important. It's your entertaining way of explaining the processes and the tasty recipes that count.

Only found your channel a few months ago and have found it to be fun. More importantly, the recipes are great and while I can't get all the ingredients, I substitute as near as. As others have said rental properties are becoming more expensive everywhere. Keep up the good work and rock on too! 🤘🤘🤘
Wow. Bummer. You're my go to cooking channel. Some of your recipes have become part of my "core" cookbook, the recipes that I've cooked so often I have them memorized. Hell, you're responsible for about a quarter of the spices in my spice cabinet. I never even heard of kasoori methi or elaichi until I found your Chicken Tikka recipe ("because to make a delicious Chicken Tikka Masala, first you have to make a delicious Chicken Tikka"). Your Amazon links saved my ass on that one. You're talented and creative, maybe if you wind up in a smaller space the videos become as much about the recipes as how to cook "small". (Sorry, I typed that last sentence before you got to the end of the video. Great minds and all that, right?) That's an issue for a LOT of people, trying to cook in a kitchen the size of a card table. 35% increase is insane. Few people would be able to stay given an increase like that. Or they could stay, but not do much else besides pay rent. In most cities here, they can't increase that much for current tenants. Good luck with the new place.

I am so sad to hear that the time and effort you have put out is not productive for you financially. I have made many of your keto recipes and love them all. Yiu have introduced me to simple wonderful Indian cooking. In fact, early on, I found an Indian grocery store near my town and stocked up a huge basket of spices and seasonings for those recipes. I wish one of your cookbooks was just keto Indian, but I can print them from your website. I am grateful for all you freely share. I do have your cookbook also. So sorry to hear of your rental issue.
