Good choice for a cheap daily driver. Just completed intake manifold gaskets, valve cover gaskets, water pump, coolant elbows, coolant flush and oil change on my 2001 buick lesabre 3800 series ii, thanks to your video on the 3800 job went smoothly.

Watch out for overheating issues on that Malibu. I had a 2001 Malibu that just loved to peg that temp needle randomly. Could never figure out why. And I hated that there was no rad cap.

Hey I won't complain about the new car. I love my 3100 engine dearly, even if it knocks a little while cold, it has gotten me through many many cold winters.

I just picked up a 2003 Park Avenue Ultra with lots of little stuff wrong with it, but I think it will be worth it in the end when I'm done with it. I had a 1997 Cutlass with the same engine and it was a good (rusty) car that I enjoyed for a little while.

Ahh the 1 ton malabu worked on them for years. Always seemed like lets say really heavy people drove them hemce the name. Was constant problems with warped rotors on those cars otherwise werent terrible cars

Mechanically it is fine, but the Title has a lean on it i can't get rid of so i can't get a title for it

@@SalemDoyle back in February a month ago I got LEDs for the interior for my Buick. I saw the how to video how you did it on your 2001 definitely a difference compared to the original interior light bulbs
