Sad to see her go. Personally I never cared about touchscreens and gizmos. Cars like Polo did the fundamentals right; looks, engine, mechanicals and ergonomics. To a real driving enthusiast, it's all that matters.

Respect it's the Polo GT.. what a tagline for a great car and an affordable german beast for the mass market.

Thank you VW for the budget German hatchback Polo. After driving around in one for 7 years looking forward for few more years with it along with Vento TDI DSG done 5 years and combined 100k kms nothing can replace them. Farewell legends

This is my first car and this is the best one I have experienced in this segment so far. The machine you can trust during your road trips.

My First Car ,the 1.6 GT TDI , what a bomb. 1.4 lakh kms done , still as strong as it was in 2014. Those who have owned one only know its value, others keep complaining about back seat space and lack of TOUCH interface.

Bought the 1.2 GT TSI in 2015 and still using it. By far the best small car made in India. Won my heart within a few seconds of driving it. The DSG is way better than the CVT or whatever else is there in cars even priced 3x of it. Pure gold!

Glad that own a Polo 2021 model HL+ Manual. It’s truly an amazing machine!!!!

I saved up years of salary to get my dream car polo from my childhood, and now when I have money I can't buy a new one. Life is strange and unpredictable.

Got 2 Polos. 1.5 TDI and 1.2 GT TSI with DSG. The diesel well above 1lakh km on the odo and the petrol nearing the 1lakh km mark. Both fit as a fiddle and never failed to put a smile on my face from day 1. We've upgraded to cars of higher segments now. But these 2 will always remain close to my heart and I'll try to hold on to it and not sell it even though it's becoming a bit more cumbersome to maintain. Farewell to the legend 🥰

There is nothing like a Polo....The best Hatchback.....it was fun car to drive...always brought a smile on your face.

Upon getting my wings in 1977, I purchased my first new Volkswagen. It was a platinum grey Scirocco. My latest one was a red GTI. I loved their driving dynamics. Now that I reside in Bharat, my heart always warms up when I see a Polo GT. ✔️.

Grateful to have owned of the best hatchbacks of all time here in India. Drove the TDI for more than 8 years. Best in class build quality, superb engine and one of the best drive and ride quality.

Its not outdated , you feel the touch with buttons but not with screen! In todays world crazy people wants everything in screen. If you really love driving you only need Steering , Gear & Music to cheer

Goodbye to the Polo. In Mexico we got the Indian Polo and it's been my daily driver for some months. It is a bit outdated by today's standards in terms of safety and technology, but what really convinced me was the driving experience, the sturdiness and the looks. Compared to other subcompacts it's solidness is on another league, and stuff like screens or LED lights can be easily added thanks to a lot of aftermarket options. I hope we get the new Polo when they start building it there.

I had the 2012 VW Polo TDI. Used it for 10 long years. Great build quality. Although it was under powered, it was very fuel efficient.

My first car sad to see it go but the good news is that Jetta and Polo both will make a comeback next year with a completely redesigned exteriors and interiors

So sad. India need to improve it's tax laws which currently only favour low quality light weight cars, even Toyota is loosing interest because of it. The real sufferers however are gonna be the Indian customers, who r gonna be left with little choice in the market, dominated by 2-3 players.

I was blessed to get the GT TSI when I was 19 years old. Now I'm 22, and I couldn't have chosen a better car. Just pure bliss and puts a smile on my face 😇😇🥳

I had December 2011 TDI model still going well. Yesterday I changed tyre Yokohama Earth1, old same Yokohama tyre running 72000km above. I achieved highest mileage of 34.5kmpl. Very much like to drive this car any mode of driving.💞💖😍

Though polo was not my 1st car, but it surely was the 1st brand new car that i got after i took a test drive of its rivals and found polo to be superb in its built quality and handling, a pure german feel, i got my polo 1.2 tdi in 2011 and still have it, with all the travel dairies of around 1 lakh kms on the odo...a true german hatchback.

We got one of the first polos in bangalore…booked a diesel highline…waited almost 8 months and then when the time of delivery came diesel model wasn’t available had to wait 6 more months…so we went wit petrol highline pepper grey…and never ever regretted one day gettin this wonderful car…still remember watchin soo many videos and reviews mostly german about the car n visualising my self driving one…on the d day of delivery it felt soo good…it was raining heavily n finally the first glimpse…n it was love…my brother drove it with me in the back seat and it felt soo secure soo pleasant and soo much upmarket…cmein from i20 to polo as the next polo felt a lot of notches higher in feeling safe and also the speakers…damn those factory kenwood ones were too good…m goin everywhere here i know but it was and still is an emotion…and i still have the same car with me cmpltd over 2.7lakh kms and still feels good ❤️

One of the best offortable European cars under 10 lakh. I hope Citroen C3 can fill the little space of Polo. 1.2l turbo looks like drivers (of small pockets) delight.❤️❤️❤️

Let it be very clear, the VW Polo model did not leave India or the subcontinent but its otherway around. And its secondary to the year on year low sales of the model because of the customers ignorance and lack of awareness in this part of the world as we seem not to value the quality, engineering, and the resilience of a car. The Polo is going to be produced and carry on in the European market and elsewhere in the world even after 46 long years of amazing history when it was introduced first........................ Hats off to the great engineering and time tested engine, architecture and platform its made on ! Proud to be a VW Polo owner............ The legend and history would still carrying on.......

Farewell Legend 🥺. I was dreaming of buying since many year. This was supposed to be my 1st car. But now that dream will always remain a dream. It may feel sad to lose such masterpiece but it has left behind the essence of perfect car on the hearts of Car lovers. I may died with the regret of not buying my 1st car a brand new vw polo, but I'll die in relief that I've seen the end of the era of such legendary car 😌💓
