I wanna stay in the apple ecosystem but Spotify is that only service I would never switch. I want native support with a smart speaker but that apple experience just keeps me thinking
Feel the HomePod has far to may bugs I use 2 of them as stereo but find they need to be reset more than often also Siri loves say one moment or working on that far to often - have a Google nest hub and that just seems to work all the time for what i request - so I may invest in the nest audio but I need to see if they stay connected a pair and not having to keep resetting like the HomePod
Hi Mark hope alls well. I just watch your video Which I really enjoyed thank you. I’m thinking of investing in a speaker I’m a listener of music meaning I would normally listen to music though headphones causing a (frisson of musical excitement) what ever that means, but when you have kids that’s not practical. anyway to cut a long short shot you mentioned in the section of sound quality a speaker that you thinks better than both of them. I was just wonder what that speaker was. Anyway keep healthy, safe and technology wise.
@@cassiecat7038 It's been a great steed, but will get replaced in 2021, I think. Really comfortable and supportive but it is a little big for my small studio.
Ouch, sorry, Philip. Looks like I didn’t research the Nest Audio’s version of Intercom. My bad. Doesn’t make the entire video pointless though, does it?
Appreciate any feedback, dude. And I can guarantee there’ll be plenty more mistakes. This stuff is hard. Incredibly enjoyable and satisfying, but hard. You should give it more of a go on your channel 👍
Google has multiuser support for voice recognition as well, I think it may be helpful to use google a little more before doing the review. Thanks for the review!
Just started watching your vids...such a breath of realistic fresh air 👍 Tried both speakers out in Currys. I actually wasn't very impressed, considering what hey were promising with regards to their audio prowess. Ended up getting 2 Libratone Zipp2's. Got them new and at a superb price. Their range of features and spec blew the nest and pod out of the water. Having Bluetooth was also the deal breaker, meaning I'm not reliant on having to have the speaker plugged in. Stereo paired them for true stereo sound. Something I took for granted over the past years due to listening to various Bluetooth/WiFi single speakers. Streaming flac files via my Activo CT10 DAP sound brill! Once again, great comparison and looking forward to future content.
Thank you so much - that really does mean a lot. And that's great news you found such a good alternative - I might have to check them out. I think the issue with products like the HomePod mini is that there's a slightly more partisan tech press out there on the Apple side which will simply echo Apple's marketing. These little speakers _do_ sound good, but they don't knock your socks off, regardless of how many processing cores they have. Stay tuned, though - I have another review on the way in the new year of a little speaker that _has_ knocked my socks off...
