Thanks! I was trying to decide between the "Google Nest Hub Max Smart vs Nest Hub 2nd Gen Smart" and my search brought me to your vid... I'll go the Hub 2nd Gen for the radar features and concern about security of camera... Your comment about it turning off audio as well as camera was invaluable, thanks!
Ah, the backlight bleeding... the not-so-glamorous side of consumer technology. But hey, at least it gives us something to talk about! Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!
I'm agonising between buying a nest audio or a nest hub gen 2. I like the idea of a touchscreen but I'm not keen on the speaker facing backwards. On the other hand the nest audio sounds better, but no screen. The nest hub max is more than I want to spend at the moment, so it comes down to these two. Anything's got to be better than my nest mini. Any advice?
If you can get either of them used you can save a lot of money I would recommend the nest hub Max if you want audio and display otherwise get the nest audio.
Thnx for this. I found it useful as I have some 3M stuck on wall shelves by my bed. Was good to know how heavy they were. So don’t mind the comment haha it helped me out. Thnx
Don't get it!!! It's not a local hub. You cannot control devices if the internet goes out. It's not matter compliant... Besides a lot of apps on it don't work because Google killed them!!!
@@Lens_Addict there is no easy solution... All have cons and pluses, most need programming... Habitat seems to be the cheapest & good start but c8 doesn't include thread radio...that's what's holding me back right now...none have built in voice control that is where Google and Amazon hubs come in...then there is homekit that supposed to offline control but I can't get a good answer from anyone that has it...
