It's just ok for me. Samsung is still king, Fold 4 has been amazing and can't wait for Fold 5. Samsung hardware and software can't be touched. You can almost use Samsung software like a desktop OS.
as a osrs player i love it that you show osrs on your foldables. super helpful, as it would be one of the main selling points for me to get the foldable (if the game feels good to control with the screen size etc). thanks shane! One question: how easy is it to reach the quick-prayer orb on the minimap when playing on the larger inner screen? This is a struggle i have with the vivo x fold 2, its so tall and large that it becomes hard to reach minimap things comfortably, and hard to reach the middle of the screen to navigate/walk easily. I was wondering if this was a lot easier on the pixel fold because of the smaller height?
Watched this on my Pixel fold. I have to say first impressions are very good. I've had a few Z folds over the different generations but just couldn't get on with that thing cover screen
@@moritz1267 pretty good I’d say. It’s got my main sim in so is getting some heavy usage. Comes off the charger around 7am and is usually dying around 9/10pm. I’ve managed 8hrs SoT but average is probably around 6. I’m happy with that as I always charge my phone every night no matter what it is
@@moritz1267 yeah I'd say it's better than I thought it would be. One disclaimer though is that it's connected to wifi 90% of the time so isn't searching for a signal constantly. The acid test will be when I take it out for a full day
Super confused. On your Fold 5 video you were quite favorable on the slimmer cover. In this video, you seem to infer there's more you can do on the cover screen. Could you elaborate on your pros and cons for each?
Sure, so the pixel fold has a superior outer display but at the cost of the inner display being a bit awkward for me since it's a tougher hold in 1 hand opened up. The fold 5 has a slimmer and inferior outer screen compared to the pixel but the tablet experience is way more enjoyable and user friendly on the fold 5. So if I had to choose between the 2 I'd choose the fold 5 because of this. Hope that makes sense
@@ShaneSymonds Could you explain more why the pixel proportions are harder to hold with one hand in tablet mode? Another reviewer is claiming both need 2 hands and Pixel is easier to hold.
Do you show the font size adjustment options it has? It's needed for a severely sight impaired user to see if it goes large enough and with bold option
I suspect that anyone that has had issues is either unlucky or they left debris on the screen before they closed it. You have to understand with foldable that you have to take a bit more care. Checked on eBay and just today there are 25 Folds that are broken being sold. I have seen days when there were nearer 50. If you cannot accept that foldable break easily no matter who makes it then you should stay away.
the pixel fold is a amazing phone goggle did a great job but please it's not better then then the fold and when the 5 comes out its gonna be even better. everyone is happy about the front screen size thats good but that's not gonna make it better then the fold.
Google has made a good first attempt with the Pixel Fold, but to charge $1800 for a first Gen device with a second rate chipset and questionable battery life and poor charging speeds and reported thermal issues under load seems ludicrous. I am fortunate in that I can afford whatever device I want, but I am careful with my money and wouldn't spend it on the Pixel Fold. I would go for the Fold 4, but it isn't perfect and should have a more premium camera system for it's price.
Seriously bruh? For $2,000 You can buy 3 iPad minis or a top Macbook Pro. I don't understand to which market does this thing cater really. Thanks for the unboxing. Not my thing.
