I've said it once... You bring the atmosphere of nights to these videos unlike any other I know. Great job. Clever, minimalistic, original way of graphics. Music selection and sound is on point. I mean it's simple but sooo gooood. And most important... Nice driving. Your stuff is only thing I wait for on YT. Sad that this s50 engine is troublesome, but i'm sure you'll find your perfect formula. Stay fast man
Found your chanel couple of weeks ago. I've never seen this kind of atmosphere in touge videos. They're literally perfect, the camera angles, the tacho and speedometer, music, THE SOUND OF THE CAR! It feels like I'm there, on a warm summer night. Man, your videos are really addictive! We want more!!!
So a couple of notes from an "armchair driver". Its hard to tell with the possibility of camera stabilization but I would say that for roads of that condition, you can back the suspension stiffness off a bit. The other important factor is getting the dampers properly valved so the suspension is predictable. Unless you are running Ohlins or Penske, I would HIGHLY recommend getting the car corner weighted and then sending the dampers off to a proper shop for valving. I used Shaftworks USA personally and they did fantastic work. For the overheat, I dont hear a mechanical fan (good) but the M5x community has this belief that the car can keep cool with just the aux fan. I would not recommend following the herd on that one. The best solution is a modern B58 fan that you run with your standalone via PWM. It will outflow the factory mechanical fan easy. That combined with an MLS head gasket. MLS is objectively the only HG you should spend your money on. There is no reason to do all that work and not put one in as it can handle all conditions better, its why the entire industry has moved to using them now for any metal-on-metal seals in an engine. Also double check your coolant temp sensors are new and genuine BMW, I dont suspect this is the issue you are having, but Bosch has been having QC issues as of late. Also assuming your drive belts and tensioners are good and you are running the stuart racing pump. Still a huge fan of both your film work and seeing someone else actually having fun on the street. Stay safe out there man.
Backside is in really good condition. There's a couple bad bumps but it's a main road so it's pretty well maintained. I think his coils are just stupid fucking stiff
I think soft suspension is a mistake without travel. There's a reason Nürburgring-tuned cars are so stiff. You need a lot of compression (whether from damping or spring rate) to keep from bottoming out. I think most single-adjustable street/track dampers simply aren't going to give you the kind of compression damping to make short travel and "reasonable" springs deal with big hits. Track suspension tends to trade travel for stiffness, and I'm not convinced it's any better at avoiding bottom-out than stock. You really need both, but not too much of either. I faced this dilemma with the Öhlins on my NC. The compromise I've chosen is to maximize travel for now, go up a little bit in spring rate eventually, and permanently cede a couple roads to the gravel-rally truck instead. The Randle Rollercoaster will never be Miatable at pace, and I'd ruin it by trying to make it work there. But I do think I can make it work very well on Klickitat, which is perhaps a bit less-bad than the road the 323is crashed on.
I didn't find this channel. It found me and oh boy am I so happy it did. The driving is just insane man, I don't think people understand just how skilled you have to be to drive at this level. Cheeks definitely clinched a few times just watching hahah. Hope to see more soon, be safe out there man.🙌
The way you make it look like you're telling a story is just awesome. It feels like we are part of the runs, which is really cool to watch. Keep up the content and drive safe!!! ❤
love the little X on the gear indicator on the mis-shift, glad to see you back but stay safe. seeing this makes me really miss my E90 with the N52.. made almost that same noise at 7000 RPM.. would have loved to take it on track.. but yknow what i bet my '18 Camry SE is faster lol, maybe not in a straight line but in the corners definetely. Would love to take it on a road like that.. just maybe not at that speed xD
Ah bmw engines failing to do what its supposed to do classic 😂 time to K swap it actually made out of metal like engines are supposed to be and they make the same or more power and almost as much torque as this m3 engine with few bolt ons
Man, this content is very underrated. I am surprised I only discovered it now, the theme and mood is on point, the production value is also very high! Best of luck to you and all your friends 🍀
Holy shit you’re back!!! I’ve been watching since before the crash so glad you’re alive and kicking with a M now! I love these videos and hope to be able to do this same stuff with spotters at night some time!
Awesome video, the way this is put together is perfect. Love the “Finish” with the sound effect out of an arcade racing game. The car drives really well, lots of speed and control in those awkward corners you’ve clearly spent some time getting her setup nice. Keep up the hard work, looking forward to the next video 👍
ITS BACK!!!!! I'm so glad to see more content. Your videos are always cinematic masterpieces! Keep it in the grey, and stay outta the black and red. ;)
