I know people who still use a GoPro Hero 4 black and it still shoots amazing video and the good thing about it is it doesn't freeze up like the GoPro Hero 5 or 6 I don't hear many people say it has problems only thing it doesn't offer. It's a lot of the image stabilization options

I shoot a Hero 4 Black every day as a 2 shot interior car cam. along with a Insta360 X3 POV out the windshield cam. The color and image is much better than the insta360 ..The Insta360 has way too much detail dialed into the image. Stabilization the only drawback with the hero 4.

The problem with it is not the quality but the startup time lol even the GoPro 11 is really slow… the point of them is to be able to start in 1-2 seconds…

I uae a battery eliminator cable hook it to a power bank never have to use gopro battery ever again. Never had any over heating issue too.

The trick with the hero 4 is to know how to stabilize footage in post, if ur a good editor hero 4 is a great cam

Hard to say... honestly I think the GoPro hero 4 works great when it’s attached to the body. Wide angle lenses (like the one on the GoPro hero 4) keep footage pretty stable. Like I said in the video I still use the GoPro hero 4 for professional gigs and mount it to things all the time. If I want to stabilize the footage Ill use warp stabilizer in premier pro

That’s crazy it’s overheating… I don’t know on the hero eight so I don’t know why I would be doing that. I don’t think there’s any version of the hero four that has a touchscreen

I had one go pro 4 black. It was by far the worse camera i have ever had on all levels! Bad pic. No stabilization, over heating battery mauling, unreliable garbage! Worst garbage sound. The body of the camera was made out of this rubbery brittle plastic that bio degrades in a year of very light use! I tried so dam hard to like mine, bit got so pissed off with it , I gave it away at a shoot i was at! The thing is in no way professional!
