In this video I am showing you 7 tips, how you can make your GoPro Hero 9 videos look more cinematic!
Tip 1: Cinematic Camera Movements
Camera movements are important to make cinematic GoPro Hero 9 videos. I am showing you 3 different ones, so you don't have to use "random" GoPro Hero 9 shots anymore. With those 3 camera movements tricks you will directly level up your GoPro Hero 9 videos!
Tip 2: Cinematic Settings
Only knowing cinematic camera movements is not enough yet to make overall cinematic looking GoPro Hero 9 videos. You also need to know when to use which settings for your cinematic camera moves and that's what I am showing you as well in this GoPro Hero 9 tutorial.
Tip 3: Full Edit - Example
To make the 2 previous tips clearer I show you a quick cinematic GoPro Hero 9 edit I made, so you can see that camera movements and cinematic settings are just the tip of the iceberg and there is much more going on in the editing process to make your videos look more cinematic. Tip 4: Cinematic Transitions
Zoom in transitions and speed ramps are simple and quick transitions you can make in the editing process to make your GoPro Hero 9 videos look more cinematic. I show you how you have to edit, but also film the shots you need for those transitions in this GoPro Hero 9 tutorial.
Tip 5: Cinematic TimeWarp 3.0
To get the most cinematic GoPro Hero 9 TimeWarps as possible you have to choose the 30x 4K setting. The 30x speed makes your GoPro Hero 9 TimeWarp look most dynamic aka cinematic.
Tip 6: Fish Eye Correction
You don't want to have a fish eye effect in your cinematic GoPro Hero 9 edits. I show you 2 very easy ways how to get rid of it. Sometimes you just have to film in a wide field of view because of the limited settings, but whenever you can use the linear + mode I do recommend you to do that, as it saves you a lot of time in the post production process!
Tip 7: Cinematic Crop & Color Grading
The cinematic crop is as the name says an aspect ratio, which makes your GoPro Hero 9 videos look more cinematic. I again show you 2 simple ways how to get this look in this GoPro Hero 9 tutorial and then I am also showing you very quickly how to color correct and grade your GoPro Hero 9 videos, which were shot with the flat color profile. That's crucial to get the most cinematic color look.
