@@clemj7928 half correct. I am a qualified instructor.. but I also am a club member and shoot regularly and aint too bad.. ( though not great! I admit) but yes, to be an instructor for camps etc you just need a few days training and may never have shot at all before. I was shooting for 5 years before I got my badge. I actually had one guy at a camp that was really good.. but yes, most were terrible lol

Derp Ham, Dirk is right. The 'correct' mediterranean draw grip uses only three fingers and eschews the use of pinky. Care to guess what Jake included in the draw? There is also the mongolian draw, aka thumb grip, but that is clearly not being utilized here.

If you cut down the stabilized arrow-footage into a circle sized shape, approx. as big as your circular logo in the end, you can have it as synchronized "picture in picture" to show the hits which are visible from an external camera in the big frame.

Hey Niko! Not sure if you saw our arrow cam video, we have been working on circular caps for the GoPro sessions and the upcoming Revl!. Check out our prototype! We also counter rotated occasionally :) I'll send you higher powered limbs to swap out with your current bows and some foam caps aswell. I made the gun. I actually drew it up on water paint in my art school and my little brother had an extra nerf gun so I decided to paint it, I've been a fan since like 2014 so I made this for you. The modifications were pretty easy all I did was look it up on RU-vid. A nerf bullet singed would be awesome. :)

Maybe Warp Stabilizer in Premier/AfterEffect but more likely it was the third party plug-in ReelSteady. Very powerful stabilizer. -Justin

I just manually animated the rotation on the shots. I'd rotate it until the horizon is level, go a few more frames forward, and then rotate it again.

That arrow footage is a prime data for video stabilization software testing/research!

ffmfg It's just a rotating image, not that complex data for video stabilization. The same effect can be done by putting a go-pro on a chain and swinging it around or putting it on a turn table. The act of spinning a camera with an arrow isn't really groundbreaking

I know it might be a bit difficult, but if you mounted two go pros, one facing right way up, and the other one sideways so that the right side of the image is upwards and the left side is downwards, (both in 4k ideally) then shot the arrow, I wonder if it would be possible to get a high quality non-rotating shot without blackbars by clipping together the footage from the two gopros and then probably cropping a bit. Would be a cool little experiment and if it worked could be worthy footage for a proper video.

Yeah that would be just barely possible with a 4k go pro, the lowest point the footage would be 2202x1526 which isn't far above 1080p and might look a little grainy (especially with a go pro sensor), I had an idea they mount two 4k go pros at different angles and crop it together, either way would make for an awesome shot.

Better solution I think would be to cover the foam tip with colored chalk. Work the chalk into the pores and I bet it will last more than a few hits. Think of chalk lines often used on construction sites.

What if you just made the projectile out of paint so that it would explode upon impact? You could fire it from a pressurized launcher and have the ammunition different colors. I even know the perfect name for it; paintball.

That is never a 30 pound bow... I have a 32 and a 57 pound bow, and even with the weaker one if you shoot directly upwards with full pullback, you have to wait at least 10 seconds till the arrow falls back to the ground. The stronger 57 # bow sends the arrow so high that you almost cannot see it until it stops and tumbles back, which is rather frightening, because you think it is going to hit you directly from above.
