@MVPugsley Though most reality shows are scripted or set up, that is not the case during service here. The reason it seems that way is because you have never seen how a studio set or television works. There are camera guys everywhere, as well as cameras on the walls that can rotate and tilt. There is a room with monitors for all the cameras and a producer(s) watching everything going on, who have direct communication with the cameramen. That producer(s) looking for anything of interest, whether it be comments among the guests or facial expressions from tasting the food and will immediately alert the cameraman, telling him to do a close up or wide shot etc, while the cameraman is skilled and knows how to correctly film the situation but more importanly is that they know how to angle themselves to avoid filming other cameraman.. Often there are multiple cameramen on multiple tables filming close ups of the conversations or reactions of tables that are receiving their food or asking the waiter about their food. They will end up with a hell of a lot of footage and will later go through it all and pick the best stuff. They aren't just coincidentally at the right table to film a certain situation. They film it all. When you casually post comments like that about something you know nothing about, thousands of other people will read it and without thinking it through will post their own comment on another HK video about it being fake, which is then seen by thousands of others. I appreciate that they are not scripting the show, which is why I even bothered posting this comment.

The Red Guy Yea no, you’re thinking ‘Camera was on him for this random comment? Fake?’ But no, the camera is actually just on everyone always. ‘People don’t talk like that in real life’? Yea, but people don’t just walk into Hell’s Kitchen for food, It’s not just ‘real person vs paid actor’, these people can be vetted food critics and customers told to vocalize their opinions and how they feel, who probably make a living just being around to judge food honestly, but as an obvious judge and not average person.

Plates can also be faulty I guess. I worked as a dishwasher, and one time there was a plate sitting on my station and as soon I touched it it broke in 3 perfect equally sized pieces. I literally only touched it. Maybe the plate was already slightly damaged and the Soufflee finished it.
