Shabani Getting His Appetite Back Is Crucial For The Entire Troop… I Saw Annie Touching His Head When He Was Eating Which Calms Down The Entire Family ❤ Continue Prayers For Nene🙏🏽 Wishing The Whole Troop Well Wishes ❤
Thanks for the video. I think many of us who follow the Shabani troupe are pleased with the frequent updates. It's a relief to see the family more relaxed, although they are still concerned about Nene.🦍❤️🩹
So good to see that their appetite is slowly returning. At a time when Shabani was eating and Annie was together, she even touched her head affectionately.❤
I always wonder what Shabani is thinking when he looks up at the sky when the jets go overhead? "I wish I could reach up there and yank them down?" "What the heck is that thing"? Would be interesting to know. 🤔🤓❤
Thank you for the video and they all look well. Has anyone been able to get information on Nene’s condition? I think it is just terrible the zoo hasn’t made an effort to release anything to the public when so many are concerned for her wellbeing 🙁
Wish we would know more information about Nene❤ from the zoo....there's has to be more than her being elderly and the hot weather... Glad to see the others a little more relaxed.. How long has Shabani and Nene been together????❤❤❤❤
She injured her leg or hip when she fell from that high distance and I hope to God they are at least giving her pain medications. The other gorillas were picking on her when she was with them and not moving from where she was sitting so they separated her, which should have been a lot sooner. I know how close a troop is and what 1 member missing means to the troop, but let's not let NENE suffer in any way. I have a feeling we are not going to see NENE again as if she has broke/fractured something in that one leg,she is to old to have surgery as far as I know and to make her suffer would just be awful. So I pray to God that the zoo is doing something except keeping her separated. I am also very happy that the others are more calm after visiting with Nene for a while. I really love Nene and her personality. She will have a great legacy with her children.
The keepers would get off their collective bums and make a decision about Nena's health when last seen she was crawling on hands and knees like human toddlers, barely moving and with very little food. She did NOT and can't stress this enough she took a nasty fall and landed on her head. She has an injury that needs to be dealt with according to how one would with an elderly female gorilla which from what I have seen so far is to ignore it and call it a sickness, I can not be the only person to have seen her fall and hit her head on the concrete floor that is harsh no matter who you are.
Yes I saw it was a hard fall and not the first unfortunate but at her age not sure if she can rally/ last I saw was her crawling along the floor when she wasn’t completely still 💔
@Sharmon-g6d we need to be her voice and care support as much we can. Clicks and subscribe are important to them that is one and letter zoo. Nene is loved by people who my never get see her in person.
ZOO VETS: Again, what is Nene’s medical diagnosis? And is she recovering to the point of an “almost” full recovery or is her health spiraling? We all would appreciate some open and honest answers from you!!!
Love the pic in the thumbnail. Shabani is looking just like older brother Haoko ❤❤❤ glad all is well with the troop! Any updates on Queen Nene?? I hope she's recovering well🦍❤️
The more time that goes by leads me to think Nene will never be reunited with her family. I think the zoo is giving the troop time to adjust with out her. Nene is very old by gorilla standards. I pray I am wrong.
They all are still very worried about the alpha female my grumpy old ladybug Nene,, I think Ai is taking it the worst Ai is a great daughter to mum Nene. Little 😂😂😂toooooooo funny Kiyomasa does look but nut like the others or from what I have watched.. Beautiful Annie looks at grandma more than Kiyo 😊😊
Nene is separated from the troop in the large room so she can recuperate in peace. If you look back on some of the videos earlier in September you can see for yourself . She did not want to eat for a few days and isolated on the top of the indoor structure. Annie and Kiyomasa kept running and hitting her. One incident she tried to chase Annie but too weak to jump and fell about 6 feet and further injured her right hip and right eye. Shabani tried to slap her and get her to chase him like they used to do. But Nene is a frail injured elderly gorilla. They might have isolated her sooner but that would disrupt the gorilla family as they are social primates. One of the videos about a week ago Shabani and Ai would come to the window to see Nene. She can't move well. She drags herself across the floor. No one knows how Nene is being treated medically because that information has not been offered. I love Nene and wish her the best and the troop will go through changes similar to close knit families with change.. It is evident that Ai and Shabani care for Nene. I saw in one video where Kiyomasa came up to the window to see Nene.Annie walks by and briefly looks in the window with concerns. We cannot judge these primates by human standards. They have their own communication amongst one another and a complex social structure. In the wild, Nene would have been left behind. But they are not in the wild and in a Zoo that takes responisbility for her well being. Zoos across the world vary in treatment and care of their gorillas . Of course resources and money matter. San Diego Zoo, Bronx Zoo, Taronga Zoo, Taipei Zoo, Berlin Zoo , Altlanta Zoo. Just to name a few give their gorillas good medical care and consider the social development. A friend of is much more knolwedgeable about gorillas said at the Bronx Zoo they have 4 displays of gorillas. ! of the displays is off camera so the gorillas can have privacy from the public. And they rotate the 4 Troops through that structure so they can live like a gorilla away from the public eye. Japan unfortunately is behind in terms of decision making and forethought with their gorillas. Some zoos make a better effort. Although the Momotaro Troop in Kyoto has a small living dwelling, they are taken care of well and have a great bond with their Keepers. There I a female Keeper who Is so kind to these primates. You can tell she enjoys her job and the gorillas respond well to her. I think her name is Yasui . Not sure about the spelling. But I divert and I hope I answered your question
@@sylvie2519 u r so kind to reply , I was worried about Nene. May God bless her and give her fast recovery. From the bottom of my heart good wishes for the zookeepers.
❤❤now that shabani is eating and calmer the other 3 are calming down esp the 2 girls, its more difficult for them as they need nene for different things . They both need some motherly and granmotherly hugs , 🫂 ❤❤how 🤔 is she no-one is letting us know, she must have improved by now
