The entire band is so phenomenal!! If I had known that it would be 12 years and counting since the Soldier of Love tour, I'd have made damn sure that I saw that tour. She is #1 on my Concert Bucket list (at Red Rock would be a 2-fer!) and I'm afraid she may never tour again, but some rumors of a new album this year. 🤞I WILL see her next tour come hell or high water!💯
When she first came onto the music scene in the early 80's ....i have loved every album she has ever done. Incredible artist from day one. After a tough day at work . .I put on her music ....light candles....a glass a wine in hand and just chill out with sensational Sade. 😊 🎶❤️🎶

I got the chance to meet her the same year their first album debuted in Palma Spain when I was in the Navy. Jay you are never going to hear anything really fast from her because she sings jazz. You might get a slightly faster tempo, but that's about it. I can't wait till you guys break into the rest of her stuff with her band. Sade is actually the name of her band which is from her middle name, Helen Folasade Adu. Every musician is top-notch. The reason she plays off of them so well is that she gets her on stage strength from them. She said in an interview that she suffers from stage fright, but you wouldn't see it. I think she carries herself very well. I think when she gets into the song it all disappears. She's just fantastic. I would love to meet her again to see if she remembers Palma Spain.

When they were originally around, I called them Sominex. This may have been the first song when it struck me how cool they actually are. Sade is the name of the band, as well as the lead singer. I remember when I first saw this video, I finally got how they are a unit, and how tight the unit is. I love the male backgrounds. Her voice blends particularly well with the tall dude. Amber is very perceptive and catches all the nuances. Sade and her band Sweetback have great synergy. Each note, guitar strum, and beat add to their greatness. Saw them live in 2011 and they didn’t miss a beat. Come back to us Sade 💃🏻

Saw Sade years and years ago, back in the early 1990s, and she was by far one of the best vocalists out there. She came around the same time as Whitney and Mariah, and there was just something more honest and real about her. Maybe it was the fact Sade was a band, originally named Pride and Sade Adu was the vocalist, and they wrote their own material was the difference for me. She was just class.
