Just one note, Lanolin has been used in skin and hair products for years (hundreds of years). There are old school greases that contain Lanolin. Your info on Lanolin is, however, very thorough, Thanks
Christ is referred to as the lamb of God, true, however it is not for the purpose of being compared to a woolly haired animal. The purpose here is truly being missed. Why the Most High should never never by compared to an animal. Remember what the nation of Israel did in ancient times when they made the golden calf and called it god... If you don't recall please refer back to the scriptures for the truth and not the lies being told about the True God who is not an animal.
Love you. Bought lanolin after this video at the pharmacy. My edges and ends have stopped breaking and finally seeing my edges reaching new lenghts O.o Than you
I mix half lanolin and half grape seed oil and melt it in the microwave and it's the only thing I've found that keeps my hair moisturized,I use it after I shampoo and conditioner, I twist my hair and cover it with a silk scraf for 2 days after it not as greasy ,and the smell is gone, also just a note vasinlin and lanolin is not the same and make sure it's 100%
This is an old video. But I have fine wavy and frizzy white/Arab girl hair. I started using lanolin on my hair after I realized how fast it heals and protects skin. It makes my hair so supple and less frizzy also makes my waves more wavy and nice . I think it’s for anyone. I just don’t use a lot of it.
I used the yellow Dax growing up in the 70s. With thin hair strands, Dax was tho only product that gave my hair volume after wash day. I found it on Amazon recently and it is a staple for me again. I am glad to know others appreciate it's value.
I have used lanolin for the past 30 years. Even n my children from about 1 year old. my daughter have mid back and waste length hair with no breaking. i stopped using lanolin when locked my hair. I also cannot tollerate alcohol but no issues while used lanolin.
Thank you for this valuable information. I bought some all natural pure Lanolin a couple of years ago. I felt it was a wonderful product because it was in my hair spray that I had used for 30 years and it made my hair soft. However my natural Lanolin is very thick like a wax and it has a strong odour. But it you put it in the fridge for a while the odour fades. To use it on your ski. and hair mix it with coconut oil or a oil of your choice like olive oil. These oils penetrative the skin too. Anywhoo the natural raw Lanolin blends in amd mixes well with coconut oil. and olive oil you may like to add an essential oil of your choice I like Orange or Rose. This makes the Lanolin soft and really thin and smooth to use on your hair and skin. Just remember to buy pure Lanolin that is not mixed with any products. You can then mix it with what works for you.
I have pure lanolin not in the grease form. I kinda like it. But the consistency is waxy sticky and it reminds me of honey. But it provides hold for my hair, makes it shiny, soft and elongates my twists.
a tad of lanolin in the face at night works too, i learn that 50 years ago, grandma use it, it seal moisture, yes lanolin is old school and still used and proved that keep your skin young , inexpensive too.
Leia Leia lol same here!!! I love my dax both green and yellow one. blue magic is too thick for me. Dax just glides on my hair. hair grease is still the bomb but i am on team DAX 😎😍😍😍😍
Good looking out, I use Miracle Gro's Beeswax with Lanolin when I get my own long hair box braided. My hair is semi -fine and it works great holding the braids. after my hair is braided I do a quick wet to give the braids body so they will lay down flat. People always compliment me on my hair and want to know who does my braids, is it all mine-(LOL)no hair added and what do I use to get them to stay /hold. I tell them I uses Lanolin w/beeswax. Thank U 4 getting the word out on LANOLIN.
@1mits1 I got it at the health food store :) they had it right there with the other Now brand oils... it was the first time i had ever noticed it though... not sure if they just brought it in for winter cause it's so heavy or what, but something inside just told me it would be good, so i bought two bottles lol. Glad I did.
@maximuslyricus I haven't got any but after researching it. I'm so going to try it. DAx has 100% pure lanolin. Should be ablr to get it at your local black beauty supply store.
Hello, i have fine relaxed hair can i use it on my scalp this Lanolin? I tried blue magic and it was way too greasy or maybe i have put too much idk but when i have put on my hair was soo greasy i looked like a wet rat under the rain lmao. Thank you for any reply and very nice video!
@ssikmoi88 I had never heard of it until someone ask for a video. Then I started seeing it in all of these products. So I had to do some hardcore research on it.
@1mits1 LOL, I didn't know all that history...years ago I wanted to find out if there was a product with it that would prevent reversion on my flat ironed newgrowth between relaxers...only products I cud find w/ it was Dax & other hair greases, I wanted to get pure lanolin to create my own concoction but never found it...now I'm natural again & will just use silicon serums like Sabino when I decide to flat iron
LOL at "This is wonderful" (with that creepy satisfied smile)..i laughed at that for like 5 minutes...LMBO!!!....i used satin press (for flat ironing) and that has lanolin in it, i love it!
@rwill117 Yes, your right Lanolin has been around for many years now old sailors used It on there ships and metal works to prevent rusting. The use of lanolin dates back as far as 1,600 B.C., when ancient Greek warriors used this substance to cover their tents. Im talking about in the hair and skin products. Its becomming more and more popular. Oh have you tried lanolin.... what do you think about it .
I heard it was bad for hair too and I don't think it is new. i've seen it being used in hair and skin products for decades. I am I crazy on this. thanks!
You can get Lanolin at any of those beauty supply stores. l cut or mix mine with castor oil or olive oil. Whatever l have available at the time. My locs love it. 😌
Lanolin as well as coconut olive and other natural oils absord into the hair but mineral oil does not. Lanolin is mega good. Works best for my hair. All products that work best for my hair i have actually noticed have lanolin as an ingredient. Now there is a hair grease at hannafords which says cholesterol and i have not tried that one yet but lanolin is the best. Wool is hair and lanolin comes from wool so its good for hair
I use to usr dax lanolin all thru my high school years and my hair was so beautiful ,thick and soft I love it but find there added alot of unessasary ingrediants in it ,so i stop using
@Somuchpotential2010 Part two lol no way I'm not like Kimmytube. I'm to lazy.... Hey, If they don't believe just look it up yourself. I rather people do that anyways.
That Dax Lanolin products (the first product you showed) isn't 100% lanolin. If you read the list of ingredients on the back you'll see petroleum is one of them...but you said that isn't good. So I would remove the Dax pic.
FYI... Statement you made, "Lanolin is a new product..." I just want to inform you that lanolin is NOT a new product. It's been around for many many years...
@1mits1 I just washed my hair and then twisted with the liquid lanolin :) It's great... I really like it so far! you only need a tiny little bit!! I think it may become a staple.... we shall see ;)
